First Listen: Britney Spears, ‘Womanizer’
It’s out! Britney Spears’s first single off her upcoming new album Circus has finally been released. Radio stations across the globe began playing Womanizer early this morning and now, courtesy of Z100 here in NYC, so can you. Click below to hear Womanizer in full:
The track is hot, yo. It sounds infinitely better than the crappy leaked snippet that we got to hear last weekend. I know some folks were worried that the song might not be great after reading the lyrics but, trust me, they work in the actual song. It’s a great up-tempo song … it’s bound to be a megahit. I’ve already listened to it about 5 times, you have to hear it for yourselves. I absolutely love it, so worth the extra few days wait … I gotta know, do you love it?

Alright folks, were all crazy in love with britneys comeback– but as a first-time listener, I kinda expected a litttttttle more… It’ll grow on me, on all of us, as always– and yes, it’ll be a hit… but Im kinda wanting the whole album to be released…If this was the best track (one worthy of being released as miss spears’ comeback-) then im kinda like…emmm?… I want some really good catchy hot pop tracks. I know she will deliver- this song could be a little better, in my opionion. GO BRITNEY!!!!

This is an amazing song! Inevitably there is going to be a lot of hype for this song which no artist could ever overcome, the fact is this is a brilliant song and is extremely worthy as a 1st single from the album!Oh and what is the saying Jake?Good things come to those who wait? Wow..this is what Christina should have done with her single. I love it. After a few listens, it’s stuck in your mind. I think this album might come out being better than blackout. It also sounds like Britney could really sing..like REALLY sing.

Well…. it’s ok.
Not really feeling the same obsession the rest of you seem to be.. but I agree with the poster who said her voice sounds a bit more mature.
Maybe after a few more listens, it’ll grow on me.. but I have to admit, the first time I heard Gimme More, I liked it far better than I liked this.
Nice to see Brit looking happy and well and cranking out the tunes again, tho. So I’ll give this new one another go :)

see.xtinas keeps getting better,she uses the bitch word like britney did in gimme more.but…it just didnt work as hot as brtieny did…its the strucure thing.the idea…the production.lets be objective if its xtina who sings this song of course it will be way better than britney does,everybody knows it…but she just doesnt…her songs always sound less listenable and catchy.so.the result is why britney is always ahead of her,its not about the singer its about the production.

ok britney is so not better than xtina!! they both use too much distortion on their voices, although in britney’s case that’s a good thing. she’s horrible live, not that you actually get to hear her live that often, since she’s usually lip syncing.
