The big thing on my agenda yesterday was my date at the beauty salon for a haircut. I liked the much shorter cut that I got last time so I opted for the same thing this time. I have a few things to attend this weekend, two of which I am WAY TOO excited about, so I wanted to make sure that I look good.

Other than that, it was a nice boring evening/night in. I read, watched some Battlestar Gallactica (I’m almost caught up with regular airings) and read a little and that was that. Trust me, it was the perfect night … I wasn’t running around, I didn’t have to be anywhere … it was divine!!

Thanks to those of you who messaged words of encouragement for my new daily mobile photo project … I especially loved hearing about those of you who have either done something like this yourself or know someone who did. As I hoped, it has sparked a whole new level of inspiration … but then again, it’s a new idea, which is to be expected. We’ll see how inspired I am in 4 months time, considering I’m able to hang in there and keep it up. I think I can … we’ll see.

So, I have a project that I have been wanting to dig into for YEARS!!
Hearing you speak about your daily photo project has actually inspired me to get going with it.
I am going to compile a music “catalogue” of 1-3 songs from each year of my life. It should be quite the project since I have to go ALL the way back to the 70′s ;)
    Late seventies albeit!
So thanks Trent for the encouragement!

Trent. I really love your idea. If your interested- check out a book called Earth from above 365. It is a collection of creative beautiful pictures of earth from the sky. Maybe you will become inspired. I did a simillar project myself. I work as a networking agent in a financial business- I got my degree to do it. But I also got a minor in Visual Arts and wanted to put it to good use. So i created charcoal drawings on the back of the business cards I collected from people I worked with in my corporate job. I did this everyday for 6 months and then by the end of my experience I put them together to create six pieces for each month. I hope you can stick with it. The end result should be rewarding for you.

Hey Trent! I think that your art project is a really great idea and it will definitely make for a terrific piece of memory that will be treasured years down the line. I was also pretty excited to read about this because one of my friends has a website (http://shuttercal.com/) where people can do just that – they take 1 picture a day and then upload it into a photo “calendar” that they can share with others.. so it’s like a digital version of the project you’re setting out to do. Good luck with it! I’m excited to see the end result :-)

Hey Trent your project sounds like a wicked idea, it’ll be something lovely to do, and to look back on. Glad you’re watching Battlestar too, it’s my favourite show and the more people who watch it the better! I would like Helo for Christmas :)
