Britney Spears Announces A New World Tour
Earlier today we saw pics of Britney Spears making her arrival in NYC late last night and I surmised that she was in town to do some promo work for her new single Womanizer … and I was right. Early this afternoon, Britney gave an on-air interview to radio station Z100’s DJ JJ and announced that not only is her new album Circus at the near completion stage but that she will “definitely” be doing a world tour next year!!!
Click HERE to hear the interview in its entirety but essentially Brit reveals that she just “recut” and mastered some tracks to put the finishing touches on Circus, that she was surprised that she won VMAs this year since she believes she has made better videos in her career and, yes, she is promising a world tour “next year” sometime. OMG … awesome news!!! Additionally, Britney talks about what she misses most about NYC — the pizza. Gurl, I hear that. THIS interview is a must-listen. She sounds great and totally back to her cute, normal self. Woot! I say, Woot!

yeah. she sounds back to normal. I am glad to hear her say she was surprised she won best video this year because, HELLO, she has about 20 videos better that “piece of me”. good for her. can’t wait to hear the new shizz.

I’m soooo rooting for her to have a successful comeback. The only thing that sometimes irks me about her is when she talks with that high-pitched ‘cutsie voice. I dunno, always been a pet peeve of mine. (Not just when Britney does it, but when anyone does it!)

Calling this woman the Queen? Hopefully I am on psychedelics and not reading that correctly. Yeah, her songs and lyrics are SOOO great..bitch, please! Glad to see her get back to a healthy mental shape but she did NO promo work for Blackout. She should have shown she was proud of her work, if you can even call it that.

I’m so excited to know that she was on Z100 today. Actually she did not talk to Elvis Duran. She talked to the afternoon DJ JJ. Either way its great that she was really in the studio giving an interview and it was a great one considering how she could have been in an interview situation. Can’t wait to see what’s next for her. I’m extremely happy to hear her sounding so well and heading down the right path.

I’m pleased to hear her acknowledge that she made better videos in the past, than her most recent one’s – as Gimme More was really quite terrible. Piece Of Me was barely passable … but it shows she can now see she wasn’t up to her usual standard – which is good!
