Beyoncé Schedules The Release Of Her Third Album
Columbia Records has announced that Beyoncé will release her third solo album on November 18 with the disc’s first two singles If I Were A Boy and Single Ladies scheduled to go to radio on October 7th. Billboard magazine has got the full deets:
Beyonce’s third solo album will be released Nov. 18 via Music World Music/Columbia, and will be preceded Oct. 7 by the radio release of the singles “If I Were a Boy” and “Single Ladies.” Beyonce co-wrote or co-produced all the material, which the label says comprises “her most personal, reflective and revelatory collection to-date.” Justin Timberlake will also appear on the as-yet-untitled project, but additional details about his contributions have not been released. The artists teamed up to cover the Marvin Gaye/Tammi Terrell classic “Ain’t Nothing Like the Real Thing” last Friday at the Fashion Rocks event at New York’s Radio City Music Hall. Producer Jim Jonsin, the man behind Lil Wayne’s “Lollipop,” has also logged studio time with Beyonce on the track “Beautiful Nightmare,” which leaked online earlier this year. It is unknown if the song will make the final track list … Knowles is also gearing up for two upcoming film projects. She stars as blues legend Etta James in “Cadillac Records,” a release date for which has yet to be announced, and as the wife of a stalking target in “Obsessed,” due Feb. 27.
You know what would make this new Beyoncé album just KILLER? A duet with Britney Spears. I’m just sayin’ … ;)

WAY TO COPY CIARA! “If I were a boy”??? How about “Like a boy” by Ciara?! Even her promo pic has her in men’s clothes. FYI Beyonce… Ciara just released that single in 2007, and we still remember it and her video. Jeez!

Pffffffft. Nobody cares about Ciara. She ain’t got nothin’ on Beyonce looks-wise, talent-wise or anything-wise anyway. The only thing I remember blowing up from Ciara was that song that was hot for 2 seconds with Missy Elliot. ‘This beat is automatic-supersonic-hypnotic-funky-fresh….’ That’s it. Very one hit wonder of her…
Beyonce is pretty fly….in her own Beyonce way…..But, I agree, a little overhyped. That ‘Ring the Alarm’ video was embarrassing to watch. Cheesey and lame and over-acted as hell. Jay-Z is the only thing I really like about her anymore.

Too many Beyonce haters…she is SOOO TALENTED and beautiful! No drama and so good at everything she does. She is great live in concert – great dancer and powerful voice. Too good to be dueting with someone like Britney. Seriously.

PS I have no idea what Ciara song people are referring to..is she really that famous? I don’t know any song by her except 1 which was like from 2-3 years ago at least..the supersonic hypnotic one. Seriously, Beyonce and her are not at all in the same class.

Beyonce is overrated! Ciara’s song “Like a boy” was cute and she popular. Just not as much as Beyonce. If she releases “If I were a boy” that is definately copying Ciara down to the outfit she is wearing. “Single Ladies” sounds like the song from her Destiny Child days. Get a new song Beyonce!

PLEASE GO AWAY! I am so sick and tired of this chick! Her sister can’t even have a career w/ out being asked about B and her husband. Give me a break! This girl annoys me. You can call me a HATER all you want but….She is just so fake. Who the H#LL knows who the REAL B is? She even calls herself SASHA when she is on stage. GIVE ME A BREAK AND GO HAVE SOME BABIES!!!! (I’m sure I’ll get some responses from the Beyonce worshippers but REAL people can see right through her) UGH!!!!

Evelyn, obviously people care :D Beyonce has fans all around the world and is a true powerhouse in the music industry! She is a big talent!!! Every song is catchy and a hit and all her albums are big sellers..all WITHOUT relying on guest vocalists on every track or needing a Pharrell or Timberland to make the music good and the main focus so the singing can take a backseat.
Keimo – what a weird comment…go have some babies? What kind of comment is that? Beyonce doesn’t seem fake at all and whats wrong with having an onstage persona outside of her everyday life? I bet you lots of performers have a different side of them revealed when they are up on stage doing a show. That’s how they really belt it out and make it a show for us. And of course her little sister is going to be asked about Beyonce – who wouldn’t when a person has a famous sibling? I’m sure it happens to the Spears, Simpsons, Lohans (at least in Ali’s case), Hiltons, ETC. Don’t know what your hangup on her is all about and I’m sure she doesn’t care – no time for that drama!

It’s all about Beyoncé!!!!!!!! The world revolves around her every move! Stop hating because from all the artist out there……..B gives you a show. Not alot of people in the business can sing live and sound just like the record and on top of that dance their ass of Beyoncé……..Don’t believe me, get her concert or see her live and you’ll see what true talent is. It comes in the form of……..yours truly: Beyoncé!!!!!!

This comment is for the new song that just aired today by Beyonce Knowles, titled, “If I were a Boy”. It really doesn’t sound like Beyonce was very original with this song and title. Ciara just came out last year or the year before last with a title, called, “Like a Boy. Now don’t get me wrong, I am a huge fan of Beyonce, however, it really doesn’t display originality when she out right uses almost the same titles in her songs.
Beyonce has a huge fan base and really wouldn’t need to display this type of behavior. She, has definitely made a name for herself and has definitely had a successful music career thus far, considering she’s obtained 10 grammys. That says alot in its own.
I had to write because it was just a disappointment to hear this. And, it may not have been intended to sound or have the same concepts as Ciara’s song, but with Beyonce being a Sr. in game if you will, I would think that she would have wanted to put out music that is truly her own and original concepts. There’s no need to try and compete with the newer artist, let your music speak for itself like Alicia Keys does, selling 2 million copies within the first week of her album dropping. Alicia Keys is very original and does not have to compete with anyone. Beyonce should feel and demostrate that same style. And trust me, this is not hate mail or anyone hating on Beyonce, its merely constructive critisim as a fan and music lover of all her music. Best Wishes.
