Kanye West, freshly sprung from jail after getting arrested at LAX Airport yesterday morning for destroying a paparazzo’s camera, has finally made is way to Hawaii (his original intended destination of out of LAX yesterday) and has already blogged about the incident:

While I think it’s nice and mature that Kanye is trying to make nice with the paparazzi as a whole … I think I prefer Best Week Ever’s take on what Kanye should’ve blogged about this incident:

I am sick of negative people who sit around waiting for their chance 2 throw me in jail for freakin out on some paparazzi and breaking they camera!!!! WHAT IS THIS??!!!??!?!!!!!! Earlier this week we learned that Elisha Cuthbert will be reprising her role as Kiefer Sutherland’s on-screen daughter in the upcoming new season of 24 … but did y’all know that Kief has a real-life daughter, too? I didn’t … which is why these pics of Kiefer and his daugher Sarah Jude were a big surprise to me. Check out these pics of daughter and dad hanging out together in NYC this week:

I also didn’t know that the runic tattoo oh his forearm was real … I’ve seen it before but for some reason I always thought it was a fake tattoo used for his movies. I tried to decipher the runes but I am more familiar with the Futhark Rune alphabet rather than the Icelandic Rune alphabet which I learned are the runes used for Kiefer’s tattoo. I understand the tattoo reads, “I Trust You to Kill Me” which doesn’t sound like a nice message but prolly holds some significance for the Kief-man (UPDATE: Pink reader Char informs me that I Trust You To Kill Me is the title of Rocco Deluca and the Burden’s album and that Kiefer manages them). Totally off topic, I’ve contemplated getting a runic tattoo myself … and may still one day, even if Kiefer did it first ;) ANYWAYS … I was quite surprised to learn this new info about Kiefer Sutherland so I thought I’d share. Any other interesting Kiefer tidbits that I’m unaware of?

Earlier this week it was reported that Channing Tatum got engaged to his longtime girlfriend Jenna Dewan while the pair were vacationing in Hawaii and today we have a few pics of the lad enjoying some downtime at the beach by his lonesome … you will note that he is blowing kisses to me … er, well, to the cameras, that is:

Boo … it’s a bummer that the lad had to go and get himself engaged … I mean, I’m sure he’s in love and all that mess but there’s something so … final … about getting married. This hunk ‘o man should be free from commitments and, you know, a wife ;) I keed, I keed … I actually really like him with Jenna. She is beautiful and they always look so happy together. Guy Ritchie celebrated the big 4-0 earlier this week in the Mayfair district of London at the pub he owns with wife Madonna (The Punchbowl) and it looks like homeboy had himself a great time. Madonna, I understand, did not. According to reports, she bolted from the soiree at 10PM to take the kiddies home and didn’t come back. Here are a few pics of the birthday boy partying and his barretted bride Maddy bolting on his birthday night:

Guy Ritchie spent most of his 40th birthday celebrations without wife Madonna. Along with their children, Madonna joined her husband Wednesday at their Mayfair pub The Punchbowl for a low-key party with Trudie Styler and David Gest, among others. Around 10 p.m., Madonna (who is in the middle of her Sticky and Sweet tour) and the kids called it a night. After helping them to a waiting car, he then returned to the pub to keep partying, London’s Daily Mail reports. He didn’t call it a night until 4 a.m. No doubt Ritchie had fun: He was photographed making goofy faces all night and revelers were heard belting out old-fashioned classics such as “My Old Man’s a Dustman” and “It’s a Long Way to Tipperary,” according to the Daily Mail.

I mean, it makes sense … Maddy is on tour right now, she can’t be partying into the wee hours of the night. I think it’s very cool that she came out to the party at all. I imagine it’s difficult to get Maddy off her regimented routine while she is on tour … it must be lurve if she goes against the grain just for her hubby’s birthday. This is just further proof to me that their marriage is sound and everything is A-OK. Yes?

In just a few hours I will board a plane bound for NYC so that I can be with David to celebrate his upcoming birthday so I’m trying to get as much work done as I can before I have to jet. It’s been a mostly chill week but yesterday was a bit frantic for me. I had a lot of laundry and packing to do (I’m still not entirely done) but it was a very productive day. I spent a good portion of the day thinking about the events that occurred in our country 7 years ago yesterday … there has been much healing but, as I said, it’s day that should be treated with reverence.

Last night, I met up with Darion and Kirsten to officially welcome her back to the US from OZ. She had to go away for a few weeks to take care of her visa issues but now she’s back and she’ll be staying here for a very long time :) It was amazing getting to see her again! We supped at our fave restaurant Rambutan and then headed over to the Cha Cha Lounge in Silverlake to grab some beers and take a whole bunch of fun photobooth pics:

Oh yes, we had a blast :)

On a personal note, I have to send out Birthday Lurve to a very close friend of mine in Louisiana who is celebrating his birthday today. Mikey, have a very happy birthday … I miss and love you!!

I have a few more things to get done before I take off but, never fear, I’ll be comin’ atcha from the East Side all next week. Holla atcha boy! Or, you know, don’t.

The Project Runway Season 5 Finale Fashion Show took place in Bryant Park this morning to close out New York Fashion Week and Heidi Klum made a stunning announcement at the start of the show. Apparently, due to a foot injury, the celebrity guest judge (whose identity we found out HERE) for this season’s Finale Fashion Show had to pull out of doing their duties:
