He had to have several operations to fix his face and repair his skin. Beside the fact that his dad made him go on stage at the age of 4 to perform. That is no way to grow and now people are scared for his kids. I am pretty sure they're living a better life then he had at that age. Apparently that's how the glove thing got started, since that's where his skin started to fade first, he used the glove to cover it up. Too bad that can't all the other crazy stuff, though.
