The Producers of ‘Saw V’ Want Your Blood

The folks at Lions Gate Films are, once again, orchestrating a blood drive this coming Halloween to not only promote their new movie SAW V but also to inspire horror fans to donate their much needed blood to blood banks in need. Here is the first SAW V Blood Drive poster to be released which features a hawt lookin’ nurse:
Yeah, the poster is pretty cool. After the jump, check out a more … apropos poster that is more in line with the SAW horror franchise theme, be warned … it’s prolly NSFW …
Now that’s more like it. Ouch, those needles look … painful. I hope this naughty nurse walked away from this photoshoot in tact … and hopefully with enough blood of her own to, you know, live.

Powells’ Books (the super-cool independent bookstore in Oregon) did a blood drive for their big Stephenie Meyer ‘Breaking Dawn’ release party, which I thought was pretty awesome of them–all blood donors got priority line placement to collect their books:

Yeah seriously. These movies suck. I’m all for a decent horror movie. (Hostel anyone?!) but these Saw flicks are just lame and cheesey and stupid, stupid, stupid. I mean, what the hell, I’m to believe that crazy guy in the first film was crazy enough to be laying on that floor motionless for hours while the other two people in the room flip out and go crazy?! Lame.

Saw is not torture porn..there are no sex scenes in any of the movies. Also, the guy was able to lay motionless for hours is because he injected himself with a drug that knocked him out.
