Sienna Miller Cracks Under The Pressure
Aww … poor Sienna Miller doesn’t seem to be able to handle the scrutiny heaped upon her concerning her new romantic relationship with the still-married Balthazar Getty. Sienna was quizzed by paps about her ongoing relationship with Getty while she tried to fill her car with gas yesterday afternoon and the poor dear fell apart and broke down into tears … and then she drove to the Beverly Hills, CA police department to lodge a complaint:
Sienna Miller broke down in tears after she was quizzed by photographers about her relationship with married father of four Balthazar Getty. Despite being a paparazzi magnet since her days dating Jude Law, the actress took exception to being photographed at a petrol station in Los Angeles. She stopped to refuel her Lexus car in a Malibu garage yesterday and was swamped by lensmen and women, one of whom asked a direct question about her “alleged homewrecking” Sienna dissolved. When asked about Balthazar’s wife Rosetta by one paparazzo yesterday, a furious Sienna replied: “Can you leave me alone, I’m trying to get gas and this is really harassment. Please leave me alone. Please I’m asking you. I can’t live like this, please give me a little bit of respect. I’m just trying to fucking fill up my car.” After managing to re-fuel her car, Sienna quickly popped inside the station to pay, before fleeing back to her vehicle … After getting into her car, Sienna drove to Beverly Hills police station, where she complained about the pursuing paparazzi. Following her discussion with the cops, Sienna managed to secure a police escort to assist her to the Four Seasons Hotel.
OK, on the one hand I can appreciate how upsetting this kind of harassment must feel … in all honesty, I’d prolly break down in front of this kind of scrutiny. On the other hand, tho, you kinda reap what you sow. I’m not saying that she or anyone deserves any level of negativity in their life but it shouldn’t be that surprising that one’s actions have consequences. I don’t imagine it was very fun for Rosetta Getty to see photos of her husband frolicking with a topless Sienna Miller splashed online, in print and on TV even if the couple were separated. I believe it when Rosetta says she was “humiliated” by those photos. Karma has an interesting way of working itself out. I’m pretty sure that these sorts of questions are going to continue to come Sienna’s way, especially if she continues to carry on the way that she does. Honestly, this isn’t a judgment against her … we have all made mistakes and are all far from perfect … I’m just saying that actions have consequences. If canoodling with a married man isn’t worth this kind of treatment then maybe the practice should be stopped.

I agree, karma is a bitch. But it takes two to tango and I suspect that Sienna will suffer more from this ’scandal’ than Baltawhatever will. Hopefully Rosetta will get hers in the divorce settlement. I know divorce hasn’t been used yet but I hope she goes through with it!

I feel kind of bad for her. She’s going to get harassed about this a lot longer then he will. Not to mention that you don’t know the facts. Whose to say he didn’t tell her that his relationship was over even if it wasn’t? some people do lie to get what they want. I think everyone needs to back off and let her get her life straight. I mean she coulda gotten hurt here too.

Everyone is so willing to pass judgement on her. We don’t really know any details cause we don’t know them personally. The only negative thing this situation has going on is the paprazzi. They got the pictures that upset Rosetta Getty and they’re the ones harassing Sienna Miller. Strict laws about privacy and harssment from the photogs need to be put in place and these private matters can remain just what they’re supposed to be.. PRIVATE!

You know what….no of the above posters have any idea about their private lives. Sienna and Balthazar may not of started any relationship prior to him leaving his wife. This is as childish as calling Angelina a homereckers because she got pregnant before the divorce is final! It also seems like Balthazrs wife is just pissed she got dumped.

the thing is, that the papparazzi’s job (if that’s what you can call it) is to take photos. That is all. Not to provoke the subject until they have a reaction that will make the rags pay more to publish it- which is exactly what they managed to achieve here. There is a limit and paps continue to cross it.
her choices of men have been “interesting”, but she is by no means the first celebrity to ruin a marriage.

I feel bad for her, actually. So she does a job she loves, good for her. Paparazzi is something she probably didn’t want or ask for, so why should she get that with doing a job she loves?
People commit adultery and do WORSE things every single day. What makes this situation any different? People who cheat or fornicate with married people don’t have to be treated like shit every time they go out in public. It’s none of our business.

Ok I have a question. How is what Sienna Miller did any different to what Angelina Jolie did or for that matter Clare Danes who was having an affair with Billy Crudrup when Mary Louise Parker was pregnant?? Angelina Jolie got pregnant while Brad was technically still married to Jennifer Aniston?? In both cases they were separated…… It doesn’t make it any easier for the present wives but it is what it is…..

Couldn’t agree more Trent. I only hope BOTH parties get a visit from the Karma Fairy. Balthazar is just as responsible for this situation as Sienna and hopefully he’ll have ample opportunity to reap what he’s sown too. We have no idea what went on behind the scenes between him and his estranged wife but methinks frolicking in public with another woman shows a complete lack of respect not only for your spouse but for your children and extended family members. Grow up people!

I find it rather interesting that she broke up with Jude Law after he cheated on her and yet turns around and becomes the other woman in a marriage. I wonder why she thinks it’s not okay for someone to cheat on her but it’s okay for her to cheat with someone while they are married??? Then (as you said Trent) complain that she is being hounded when she very publicly was frollicking around naked with this guy? Even if she was in a “private” room when the balcony pictures were taken, she sure as hell wasn’t in a “private” room on the boat…

Those who are saying we don’t know the whole story… we know enough. Sienna gets all weepy because Jude cheated on her, then has the audacity to be photographed topless with a married man. Regardless of whether Balthazar and Rosa were separated, or whether he lied to Sienna about the situation, the fact that remains that Sienna made the choice to “canoodle” with someone else’s man. She has not earned my pity in the slightest.

uhhh. Some of you people are just as bad as the tabloids you read. You have nothing better to do then speculate about someone else’s life. Yes, a picture tells a million stories, but so do dudes/girls who want a piece of ass. Just because someone is a celebrity doesn’t mean that they are walking targets. She isn’t making a movie or doing some other job related thing.
To those of you in the peanut gallery: Would you appreciate a client, customer or whoever is related to YOUR job, follow you around telling you how much you suck at life? We all leave work at work, why can’t celebrities?
By all means, I love Trent’s blog, this is the only celeb related gossip I read. Mind you, I don’t just read it for the gossip. Trent’s insight, opinion and life is interesting to me.

I agree that it is always the woman who ends up getting a trashed reputation over these things. B.G. will probably end up going on his merry way in a couple of months when this fling is over, but the press will be reminding her of this for years. He does not have to deal with the press all the time – but she has movies to promote. Yes – she acted stupidly – but there is a major double standard in the way the tabloids treat female celebs.

I don’t feel bad for her at all. Maybe, just maybe if you don’t want people calling you a homewrecker you shouldn’t run around naked with married men. Yeah, maybe he fed her a line to get her into the sack, but at this point I think she should know enough about the situation with his wife and children that she should have cut ties with him altogether instead of walking around Hollywood with him in front of the cameras. If she thinks this is “true love” then step back and let the man settle things with his family whether it be a divorce or a highly unlikely reconciliation.
I don’t think this is a double standard issue with the tabloids. I think Sienna is taking most of the heat because she is the most famous of the two. I had no idea who Balthazar was before this happened. Just because Sienna is the one crying doesn’t mean the Balthazar isn’t getting anybacklash. I can’t imagine his relationship with his children is all that great right now.
Although I do agree that the ‘other woman’ gets trashed the most in situations like this, more so than the man, I say it is well deserved. Actions and consequences. For some reason people forget that that is how the world works and Sienna getting everything she deserves for actions that are monumentally stupid.

Trent, you are too nice. Irreguardless of Balthazar being separated or not, if she had any brain whatsoever, she would not have gotten into this situation. How insensitive can you be, especially when you know how it feels to be cheated on, to get into a very public relationship split seconds after a not even announced breakup, topless at that! This just screams stupidity. If you are a celebrity, however unfair it may be, you are constantly being followed, so why is she suprised that he didn’t get away with this, that people would find out and obviously feel strongly about it? I totally agree that you reap what you sow and I don’t feel sorry for her. I feel sorry for the Getty children, who are the real victims of this story.

The gas station thing – she’s an actress and loves to put on
scenes – remember all that dying and crying that went on after the Nanny scandal broke? and the name calling Jude suffered? She could have avoided it and used a back entrance
to leave the theatre and every single night she put on a
show. She got with Jude to acheive notoriety and she did. Now she’s playing the other part – I hope it leaves her right where she started, a 15 min celeb and she spends the rest
of her life looking for love – with her it will be in all the wrong
places. She is worthless trash.. Slowly Jude is being vindicated because the Nanny was a cry for help and he
should have broken it off with her right there and dumped her.
