Shannen Doherty Tries To Become A Hollywood ‘It’ Girl … Again
Shannen Doherty, in a pair of super short cut-off jean shorts, tried to feign annoyance when she was photographed making her exit from the übertrendy Green Door nightclub Saturday night but you just know that she was giddily excited on the inside that she is, after all these years, back on the pop culture radar:
Methinks that Shannen is making a play to reclaim some of that long-gone fame that she reveled in in the early to mid 90’s. If she’s smart, she’s gonna milk her newfound stardom from her upcoming stint on the new Beverly Hills, 90210 spin-off as much as she can … after all, it may not last. Just a few notes … first, she needs to hang out with the cool kids (if any of them will have her) and second, she needs to lay off the fading fashion trends (the bootie shoes she’s wearing are so yesterday, no?). This could be her final chance for Hollywood “It” Girldom — do y’all think she can make another go of it?

She’s done. She’s too Old to be an It Girl now and she’s too much of a loser to be taken seriously (or in) by the actresses her age who are Cool (and have Talent). She needs to ride this 90210 shizz for as long as she can.

I love her, I really do but I think she’s just an old tired LiLo and thats sad because at least LiLo stands a chance of cleaning up and getting back on top… Shannen’s time has long passed… Besides, she was always such a diva, that crud cuts it for Mariah and others but not for Shannypoo…

i love shannon, favorite on 90210 back in the day, favorite on charmed, and i’m def. tuning in to the new 90210 ONLY because she and miss kelly taylor are featured. (i’m 26, don’t really need to be watching it for the teen drama!!)

I agree with Geret - she’s been acting since she was an infant - give her credit. She went through the same ‘bad girl’ faze that all ‘it girls’ go through in Hollywood. Are we going to hold her responsible for shit that happened in her twenties? She probably doesn’t give a dam about being an ‘it girl’ anymore! She’s been there - done that …
