Scarlett Johansson & Ryan Reynolds Get Lippy
There are a few really cute pics of the happily engaged Scarlett Johannson and Ryan Reynolds enjoying a bit o’ PDA together as they shopped and motorcycled together here in SoCal this week making the rounds … click HERE to check ‘em out:
The newly engaged couple are obviously madly in love and couldn’t keep their hands off each other on a ride to Malibu on Ryan’s vintage Triumph motorcycle. Ryan couldn’t even wait for the young starlet to take her helmet off before leaning in to give her a long loving kiss. During the romantic trip they stopped for lunch before putting on their riding gear to head to their next destination – the shops. Scarlett went for some retail therapy at the Hidden Treasures Boutique, while Ryan chose to stay out front of the store and take a rest on his bike. The star announced her engagement to Canadian actor Ryan Reynolds earlier this year but she claims she won’t be rushing down the aisle. Speaking on the Jay Leno show, she said: “We’re just enjoying our time. We’re just recently – very recently – engaged. So … we’re just taking it easy. And no big plan yet. I mean, I’m 23. There’s no reason to rush into it. Everything feels very natural and relaxed.”
ACK! They’re so cute, it kills me! Blah … I mean, I should be happy for ScRyan and their engagement but I kinda still harbor some resentment on Alanis Morisette’s part. I know it’s stupid and pointless but I still feel bad that things didn’t work out for her and Ryan. She may claim to be over him but I’m not … hahaha ;) I mean, I get why Ryan is head over heels for Scarlett but … meh. They look happy tho, that’s something to celebrate.

It kinda makes sense when you hear that Scarlett said she is in no rush.
I like them together better than Alanis and Ryan.

hmmm they look good together, but i dunno, ugh i feel like she stole the man or sumthing, i was kind of hoping alannis would bag a hottie.

I feel some resentment, too!! It just seems like he jumped into something so serious too soon after Alanis!

Yeah…I feel for Ms. Alanis as well, she’s an incredible talent and seems like a totally down to Earth person… I also really don’t understand why anyone (not just celebs) would get engaged if they don’t plan on PLANNING a wedding yet? I hear this quite often in people within my age group (I’m 25). I think if two people are not trying to put on a show and are genuinely in love there is no need for an engagement until the couple is ready to take the necessary steps toward becoming husband and wife…but maybe that’s just me?

I’m a bit annoyed by this couples engagement too…It just seems so fast after his previous serious relationship. It’s a bit dis-respectful to Alanis in my opinion. I think it suggests she was not hard to for him to get over and what they had was not difficult to move on from…That is just so sad.
Though, I should admit in my lifetime from what I have seen this is common behavior among many men. They tend to jump into a new relationship before they are over the last (or before the last is even over) and the end result is usually heart break for the new girl as well as the last girl.

Alanis es una mujer con una gran sensibilidad, muy buena cantante, compositora, actriz…y como persona excepcional…creo que es mucha mujer para poder seguirle el ritmo cualquier hombre..de todas formas hacian muy buena pareja Alanis y Reynols,
