Wow, in this post or in WWD everyone failed to mention Eugene Hutz at all. After all the name dropping of this and that designer who I am sure spent years fine tuning this look (sarcasm), there is no mention of eugene or his appearance on stage with her in basically this exact look.

His style was validated I guess when this spring’s gucci runway was inspired (stolen blindly) from eugene, and now maddona is going to take credit for the look 8 years later.

Check out eugene at gogolbordello.com and make your own decision on this, but really this is so maddona. Not only did he lose credibility by appearing on stage with her, but after she takes the look he gets no mention anywhere and everyone else gets credit for their creativity and designs that really aren’t creative at all since that exact look has been on gogol’s female back-up singers/dancers since the beginning.

That robe looking costume is amazing, like it came straight out of some other fantasy world… only she can pull something off like that!
