Lance Bass, who has just been announced as one of the celebrity contestants in the upcoming new season of ABC‘s Dancing with the Stars, has updated his official My Space profile with the first pics of him rehearsing for the show with his “professional” dance partner Lacey Schwimmer (who joins the DWTS family this season, you may recall Lacey was a finale finalist on the third season of So You Think You Can Dance which, apparently, makes her a “professional”) … check ‘em out:
While I really wish that DWTS would’ve had the balls to pair my boy Lance up with a male professional dancer (mebbe that cute Travis guy from SYTYCD) but I totally get that middle America (ie. target audience) ain’t really ready for something like that. I’m not a big DWTS fan but I will deffo be rooting for Lance … tho, I think I may have to split my lurve between Lance and another of this upcoming season’s celeb contestants. what about the fact that lacey is super mormon? as in- at least a little anti-gay.
Um aren’t most ballroom male dancers gay? All the talk of Lance being paired with a male dancer is just stupid. It is a dancing show not a dating show (for the most part anyway LOL)
Thank you Nicole for posting her titles, I was about to do that myself. She is a professional, not a “professional”. She’s amazingly talented and was winning competitions well before she made it onto SYTYCD.

I highly doubt she is “anti gay” in any way. i think in her line of work…she comes across many, many, many gay men and seems to be very good friends with them. also with hok being her exboyfriend and being british and japanese…she seems to be a well adjusted, tolerant, and not prejudiced in any way
why does the gay agenda have to make it into everything? ballroom dancing like someone else said, isn’t about who you’re attracted to. it’s dance between man and woman. “middle america” as you put it so stupidly trent, doesn’t care because it’s for entertainment…not time to push an agenda. get over it.

Well, I might have to actually watch this dang show this season. It may prove to be entertaining. Lance LOOKS great in those pictures and as we know from Joey Fatone (not to mention Timberlake)…N’Sync raised it’s boys right. And Cloris Leachman! kickass! Team Cloris!
