Katie Holmes took time out of her bizzy Broadway rehearsal schedule to take her human-like child spawn Suri to a playground park in NYC to spend some bonding time with her hatchling … unfortch for Suri, mama Katie couldn’t be bothered enough to get off her cell phone pretty much the entire time that they were supposed to be enjoying their quality time together:

I’m sure Suri knows that her mother loves her very much and ignoring her to take phone calls is no reflection on that love for her. I must say, tho, Suri is turning into quite the little lady. While I wish she’d ditch that bottle already, I think she is turning out as cute as can be … which is fortunately for papa Tom Cruise cuz she kinda deflects from his craziness these days.

that child is way to old to have a bottle!!!!!!!! I surprised doesn’t have bottle rot from having that thing in her mouth all the time! For crying out loud, give the child a sippy cup!
While Suri is insanely adorable, I’m quite bothered that she’s still drinking from a bottle – my 23-month-old has been on sippy cups for many months (and we’re in the early stages of working on big-girl cups).
how am i the first to comment on those pegged jeans? i’m surprised she’s not wearing a backwards v-neck sweater and docksiders, too ;)
YES AMY! Why, for the love of everything that was fashionable in the 90s, has she been wearing her jeans like that! It’s beyond fugly. I wonder what Posh thinks!
Katie needs to help of What Not to Wear these days…
I agree with the bottle…I can’t believe she still drinks from a bottle. My daughter just had her 12 month check up and we have her on sippy cups already…she gets a bottle in the morning and sippy cups the rest of the day. She pretty much weaned herself. I know Suri is over two already too, that is nuts.
The pinch-rolled pants are too much! LOL! Suri – time to give up the bottle, little one!
the rolled up pants are waaaay too much. & the pics of suri w/ a bottle in her mouth are driving me NUTS!
Omg, perhaps Katie was on the phone with her stylist saying “wtf is up with these donuts around my ankles!?” p.s. Suri is a beauty!
I’m quite surprised at those pants, too. Those must’ve been made for 8-footers. It isn’t like she is a short person. Married to one, yes, but not one herself. That is an adorable childling though.
People, people, people. Don’t you know? Suri is a woman. If she wants to drink from a bottle, she will drink from a bottle. She makes these decisions for herself.
Haha, no, in all seriousness I agree… wtf?! She is so far beyond being too old for a bottle! That is going to mess with her teeth and she could have mouth/breathing issues in the future. Morons.
At a quick glance, I thought Katie was Tom… must be the hair or something.
I don’t see why everyone is so concerned with Suri drinking from a bottle – what is the big difference between that and a sippy cup?
This bottle thing with Suri is out of control, my daughter is a year old and i took her off the bottle and went with the sippy cups almost 2 months ago and when she starts day school, they will teach her with a regular cup.
Suri is going to need some serious braces if they don’t get her off that bottle asap. That’s just not healthy…
I thought Katie was Tom too! They have a very similar hair style going on.
I hope Suri’s teeth aren’t ugly and crooked when she’s older, but I won’t be surprised if they are.
People lay off with the bottles already. Each child is different! Just because yours can do this, doesn’t mean another can do it too. The worst parenting critic is another parent.
Give me a break. Lay off the bottles? Are you kidding me? Pediatricians will tell you that having a bottle past 2 is not good for their teeth! Sippy cups are different. They have hard plastic spouts like a water bottle while bottles are soft. Children tend to suck on bottles constantly while sippy cups are more of a drink and go thing. Your not supposed to let your child run around with a sippy hanging out of their mouth either! My daughter is 18 months old. She’s been off the bottle since 13 months and drinks out of big girl cups ALREADY! It isn’t hard. If you wait, they get attached to them. It’s not good to let them have that milk dripping onto their teeth all day and night. ONce my daughter brushes her teeth she doesn’t get anything but water for bedtime.
Suri is way too old for a bottle. That’s a FACT. If she were 2, I’d be less critical because some kids take longer. But the girl is like 3 and 1/2 right?
so yeah, she needs to lose the bottle, and aslo, isn’t she a little high on that swing? she’s almost horizontal.
They continue to give her a bottle because it’s easier for them, which also explains Katie being on the cell the whole time…she probably recounts her day to others as having spent the whole afternoon with Suri, when in reality they had virtually no interaction at all. Lazy.
