It’s Britney, Bitches!
Woot! Woot! Here are a bunch of new pics of our dear Britney Spears, snapped on a recent shopping trip visit to Robertson Blvd. in West Hollywood, CA this week, lookin’ completely and utterly faboo. I mean, Britney has been lookin’ good for some time now but these latest pics of Brit Brit really hearken back to the days of yore when Britters was in her prime … behold:
It looks like her recent trip to Mexico was good for her, she hasn’t looked this fresh-faced and happy in ages. To be honest, I could’ve thrown in a few pics of Britney circa 2001 and I doubt anyone would’ve know the difference. It is very encouraging seeing our dear Britney look so damn good. The future looks bright for our girl, she looks ready to really make the stunning comeback that we’ve all been hoping might happen one day :)

Why do you want her to have a comeback so bad? She may be a good dancer, but she’s a terrible singer. There are plenty of other talented people right now that are already on the right track I’d rather see. She has enough money to retire and take care of her kids anyway.

I’m with P…rather than see her make a comeback (which I don’t think would be very successful since her fan base has moved on, and the kiddies these days are all over the new Disney era of Miley, Zac, Vanessa, and the Jonas Brothers), I’d much rather see her focus on being a healthy and genuinely happy individual — someone who doesn’t rely on the conservatorship of her father to get her through her adult life, but most importantly someone who can get primary custody of her kids back and be a MOM to her two beautiful young boys who most likely already have hefty therapy bills in their future. Just because she’s photographed looking good for the first time in months does not mean she is ready for overzealous fame and spotlight anytime soon.

Yeah……..what’s with the “Britney comeback!” obsession? Britney had her day back in ‘98-early 2000s. She’s 27 years old, going to be 28 this year, and a mother of two boys. She’s not a teeny pop tart anymore. Time to move on, Trent.

I am so happy for her! I cannot wait for her BIG comeback… Blackout was just a teaser. Britney Spears has always had the it factor, despite all the haters. Sure, there are people more talented… but Britney is an amazing performer. She puts on an amazing damn good show (Lord knows how many times I’ve watched Live in Las Vegas back in the day – it was actually my first DVD). I basically cannot wait for her to perform us the way she was meant to perform – dance, dazzle, and pop. And not the sad, pathetic entertainment we’ve been witnessing for a few years too many.

Oh dear God. What’s the matter in giving the girl some props for looking good? It’s obvious through the pictures that she feels great.
PLUS- People have known for ages that her voice isn’t the best thing about her. But that hasn’t stopped her latest album getting positive reviews and doesn’t rule out the fact that she has accomplished more things in a span of 5 years than most artists twice her age. Shallow as it may seem, that’s the industry today. As long as she keeps getting healthier and produces addictive songs, as well as putting on kick-ass performances, Britney’s back, bitches!

WOW! I’m so excited to see her looking like her old self. Her hair has been driving me nuts since well Kevin came into her life. This hair actually looks normal and you can’t tell its a weave this time! I’m glad shes getting better, I think having her father help her and with the kids not in her care 24/7 gave her some time to clear her head. Hopefully she’ll come out with another good CD, though I’d like to see her music go back to the way it used to. The sound and types of songs are much different but still great.

Its nice to see that most of 2007’s celebrity trainwrecks are back on track in 2008. Britney does look very good in these pictures – probably gearing up for the VMAs so that it doesn’t turn out like last year’s embarrassment.

I do agree with some of you guys who have commented above. Britney isn’t the best singer, and shes probably the BIGGEST lip syncher in the music business. I mean I used hate her back in the day, but that was because of my love for JT that still remains strong today.=D But I really think everyone is so excited and wants a great comeback from her so badly is because of how the last few years went down. We all just want to see her get better. I admit her best years “career wise” are probably over. But people seeing the way her life went crashing down like that really just want to see her get better. Whether you like her or not, you’re reading this and still keeping up with what goes on in her life. Let me ask you Why? If you really cant stand her, then why are you so concerned and interested in her life. Anyhow I do not think shes ready for the comback right this moment but i would eventually love to see one, and I think part of the cause of everything turning upside down was her never growing up, here she was never being able to experience normal things, her and her husband got divorced and she was left with two kids, and she was always being followed by the paps. I think she needs to go back and live in Louisiana for a few years. Do some normal things, be with her family, and get better.

1) Britney HAS her children back. Maybe not full custody but she will have 50/50 by the end of the year and THAT IS WHAT ALL DIVORCED FAMILIES SHOULD HAVE. So quit with that tired excuse as to why she “shouldn’t come back.”
2) Blackout was amazing… her next album is going to put her back EXACTLY where she belongs. AT the top… erasing all the other carbon copies from Disney.
3) She may never see the success of Baby one more time or Oops again, BUT no artist every keeps their record sales in the millions throughout their career. Britney sells 2,000,000 of Blackout and its called a failure. Madonna sells 600,000 of Hard Candy and it’s called her best in years. There is a double standard for Britney because people want to hate her so much for no reason
4) Britney may not be the best singer but who actually is these days? EVERY SINGLE artist out there these days uses voice-synthesizers in their songs from Rhianna to Mariah to Chirs Brown to Miley to Madonna. HOWEVER they are all popular because they entertain. If youd quit looking for reasons to hate Britney Spears you may see that she is an amazing artist and entertainer who will have the longevity you so desperately want to take from her.
5) Fuck you if you hate Britney. She’s clearly doing what she needs and your lame ass mean-spirited opinions on her fall on deaf ears.

And ebgb, F you. Not everyone likes Britney. I never liked her. Her songs were catchy, but when I listen to singer I actually want to be impressed with the voice. And with her, I’m not impressed.
She should focus getting her children back and being in charge of her finances before she tries to make her comeback.

Britney will never go out of the public eye– shes the biggest diva of our time. She cant go to Kentwood and live a normal life. You think she’d want that? After all the fame- and all the past success, you think she’d be able to give all that up? She tasted what if felt like to be the queen of the pop music world– shes not gunna let go of that. She loves what she does- and shes just not gunna move back- and away. Shes getting better, shes looking good. She has her old manager back- taking voice lessons…washer her hair even. Shes doing all the right things. Im rooting for her. Shes a very smart young woman who knows how to give people what they want. Sure, she made some public mistakes- but its what makes her story so- incredible- now and in the future. The past few years will always be part of the Britney Spears story. Now, watch her claim back her throne. I cant freakin wait.

I’m glad she finally took a shower, but let’s not get all excited just yet. “Properly groomed” is a long way off from “amazing comeback,” and it’s not a guaranteed path from one to the other, anyway. She’s been replaced by other mediocre singers who have yet to pop out what Silverman calls “adorable mistakes.” Apart from her die-hard fans, the rest of us are ready to NEVER hear about Britney again.

I know this is an old post. But for the person who said that the kiddies have moved on from Britney to the new Disney generation, you’re wrong.
Britney’s fan base has grown with her. She is no longer trying to be appeal to pre-teens any longer. I mean, her last album had a song named “Get Naked(I Got A Plan)”…I hardly think she was talking to the same age demographic that Miley Cyrus is currently.
So, yes, Britney still has a strong fan base. She is internationally known, as opposed to the new Disney generation. And quite frankly, Britney might not have the best voice, but she is an amazing performer and very similar to Madonna, Janet Jackson in music history. Not many performers have this talent i.e. Rihanna, who has great music, sings well, but lets face it, is a boring performer.
