Hole-d Up

What a night/day it’s been … let me tell you. First off, David and I were faced with yet *another* delay on our way out of LA to Jackson Hole, WY yesterday. Our United plane had a “mechanical problem” that delayed us just enough to make us miss our connecting flight in Denver, CO to make it to WY last night … so we had to spend the night in Denver. While this scenario is crappy, United did everything they could to A.) apologize and B.) make the sitch as right as possible. They put us up in a nice hotel, they paid for our dinner and then made sure we got on the first flight available this morning. I promise, it was a headache but at least United knows how to keep a customer. But … we made it:

The internet connection here at our hotel isn’t the best … in fact, it’s pretty bad. I can barely get any work done at all. I’m gonna try to write up more content but the connection is so poor, I can’t even load web pages at times. I’m not sure what this means for tomorrow’s blogposts but … I can’t really worry bout that right now cuz David and I have a wedding to get to. Woot!

I wish I would have known you were in Denver last night. I could have told you a kickass place nearby to go to dinner. too bad the weather here was total crap- probably the first time it has rained all summer. :) glad you made it to Wyoming. You know the drive from Denver International Airport is only like 3 hours to Jackson Hole. lol. glad you made it though.

United didn’t by any chance put you up at the Red Lion Southeast Denver hotel did they? I used to work there and we had a contract with United for “airport accomodations”… it would explain why you had such internet problems if you did, ha… yeah, I wish I would have known too, I most definately could have directed you to much better places to be in Denver :)

Aw man, you should have come for dinner, I live about 20 minutes away from the airport. Crappy day with all the cold and rain, I made a yummy potroast in the crock.
