Hilary Duff is about to release her 5th album on September 23, 2008 … it is a best of collection of songs entitled Best Of, her second such collection of songs in 3 years (Most Wanted came out in 2005). Here is the cover artwork:
Of her 5 albums, 2 of them are greatest hits compilations … I wasn’t aware that she had enough hits to warrant 2 career retrospectives. At least it’s a purdy picture.

The best of album is only being released to complete Hilary’s contract with Hollywood Records. Hilary is moving record companies “for reasons such as poor promotion and creative differences”.
Being a Hilary fan I will buy the Best of album even though I have Most Wanted and all the songs off the album anyway! I cant wait til’ Hilary moves labels and has a new album out.

Its really disappointing how Hollywood Records barely promotes her anymore, its all about that twat Miley *barf*. I loved her last album and thought it definitely deserved more than what it got. Smart of her to pull this together to get out of her contract.

like the others have said “Best Of” is the last Hilary Duff album will release through Hollywood Records, because of creative differences & poor promotion, also because Hilary wanted to focus on co-producing & taking longer on the record & “perfect it” but Hollywood Records wanted an album by the fall, so instead it was decided on releasing this cd.

Its sad that the one good album that Hilary released never got the attention it deserved. But all HR are interested in is Hannah Monfrigintanna! At least i will finally hear Reach Out in hq and i read somewhere that Hilary had a meeting with defjam how funny would that be ghetto Duffster lol.

It is a very pretty picture; I feel bad that her label won’t promote her enough, and then on top of that, are making her do another Greatest Hits. They should just let her go, and focus on that twat, Miley.

Aw, that’s sad to hear that Hilary is having such a hard time with her label, shame on them! She is light years better than stupid Miley anyday. Can’t wait to hear the new album!

Dignity is definitely her best album. I am a big fan of Hilary and she definitely doesn’t get the promotion she deserves. I’m glad she is leaving her record label for a new one.

This would be Hilary Duffs first “Best of” album. Most Wanted was a compilation album of unreleased material and remixes. Still, it’s great it’s at least something. Hollywood Records actually wants to hustle that no-profit sound of The Mousketeers again with Miley Cyrus, when they should stick with Hilary and other artists trying to get solid music and songs out there to the public for more than just a few years of broadcast radio play time with downward spiral revenue. To profit in music, you’ve got to get the real music out there. Hollywood Records may have to find out the hard way when Hilary Duff leaves them.

Trent you act like if this is what Hilary wants she doesn’t want another greatest hits album she signed a 5 album contract with hollywood records and they don’t want to invest in another new full length album so they decided to release a Best Of to finish her contract with the most ridiculous record label ever Hollywood Records it’s the fastest way to do it Hilary actually had new material to make a new album however they didn’t care

Hilary duff is getting FAT! Oh by the way that picture is OLD. It was used for her previous “greatest hits” album. The only “greatest hit” from her was “come clean” when she was cute.

This is her greatests hits because she is done with Hollywood Records – thank god. They hardly promoted her. I’m excited to see what new music she can make with a new lable that isn’t Disney. Hilary is growing up and so is her music. I cant wait for the greatest hits. There’s 2 new songs and they should be amazing!
