Heidi Montag Releases ‘Overdosin’ … Take Two
The fixed, final version of her new music video

After a false start earlier this week, Heidi Montag’s new music video for her latest single Overdosin’ finally appears ready for public consumption. As you may recall, Heidi unleashed her Overdosin’ music video on her official website on Tuesday (after she announced it would be released on Monday) … but unfortch, the syncing was way off and the video was practically unwatchable. Late in the day, Heidi issued an apology for the poor quality of that video. Today, it seems that the probs with the vid have been fixed, here is the final version of her new music video for Overdosin’:
Yep, the music and the video are now properly synced, this is the way the music video was always meant to look … do y’all think it’s an improvement?

I think that the video is of really poor quality. I couldn’t get past the fact that the whole thing just is hard to watch. Its out of focus and just looks like crap. The song is ‘alright’ and the idea is ‘alright’ but execution is seriously lacking. Oh and all the creepy looks from the different people really did nothing for me.

It’s only an improvement if you watch it like I do: on a laptop that has no sound because the sound when out a few days ago:) If you watch it like that then it’s the greatest music video EVER! That being said, seriously she’s a joke in the music department and should just stay on the Hills for as long as she can b/c she’s a very vapid person, or is portrayed that way, and if it wasn’t for the show and being former friends w/LC she wouldn’t have a “celebrity” life. None of them would.

alright alright, i cant stand heidi as well as spencer but… i do have to give the girl props for always trying and never giving up. everyone hates and rags on her but she just wont quit. gotta admit, i wish i had that drive. still dont like her tho ;) but the vid is an improvement from the mistake that was posted before.

I’m not a hater, I’ll be honest. It’s not MTV quality, but with their budget, what did you expect? Just because they get their picture taken doesn’t mean they have the millions of dollars it takes to produce a music video. They have no record company to back them up as far as I know. I think it’s kinda funny. Just imagine if a buddy of yours pooled their resources to make what’s essentially a homemade video. You would think it was pretty good. I like the song, but I wish her voice was stronger…it seems a little too “breathy” for me.

I have never seen whatever show it is that Heidi and Spencer are/were a part of, so I have no real base from which to judge them from except that they are constantly in magazines and seem like media whores. However, I don’t think the video TOTALLY sucks. It is a funny idea and is certainly meant to be cheesy – which it accomplishes. Does it show off Spencer as a great producer/director? No. Does it show Heidi to be a great performer? No. The song itself is totally studio produced and I would be surprised if the girl really even has a good singing voice, but it is passable for radio play. That’s my two cents.

For a minute I thought I was watching the old video. I’m still not sure. It’s really really bad. And what is up with the creepy stalker eyes mustache guy? Hell everyone behind Heidi looked like a joke. Were they trying to take attention off the fact that Heidi and her ‘music career’ is a joke? Even with the computer manipulation of her voice she still sounds bad. Maybe she’ll be big in the European club scene. So…here’s my two cents… Heidi is a very pretty girl, however I don’t think she has any real “talent” especially with regard to the music industry as a whole. I would like to know who believed that the production of the actual song AND video were any good? I get the concept of the video is supposed to have an 80s retro vibe to it, but seriously? The sets, lighting, etc. look extremely low budget. Here’s the thing, if you don’t have the means to do it right, don’t do it at all, please. I also have to wonder if each and every one of The Hills cast thanks their lucky stars everyday that Lauren Conrad exists otherwise no one would give a crap about any of them. Oh and I am also not a fan of the way this video seems to be echoing the likes Olivia Newton-John’s “Physical” video. Both are cheesy but in the end, at least Olivia’s lyrics have something to do with the video concept!
