Heidi Montag Apologizes For Her ‘Overdosin’ Video

Technical difficulties stymied her music video premiere
August 26th, 2008

Heidi Montag has issued an apology to her fans for the sub par quality of her new music video for her new single Overdosin’. Earlier today I posted her new music video and noted that the music and the video seemed to be out of sync, rendering the music video almost unwatchable. It turns out that there was a technical problem with the vid as it was uploaded to her official website which caused the mis-syncing … a problem she is hoping to remedy immediately:

Heidi Montag debuted her new music video for “Overdosin’” on Monday but later apologized to fans for technical difficulties. “Dear fans,” she wrote in a statement. “I apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced when trying to view or download my “Overdosin’” video. We have experienced an error and are working to correct it as soon as possible. Thanks again everyone’s support. I hope you enjoy the video!

Do you accept her apology? I know that I, for one, am anxious to see the corrected version of the video … which is bound to provide a more entertaining viewing experience than the one that was released earlier today:

Stay tuned … you know you want to see the final corrected product, right?

At least this video will be better then the one for ‘Higher’….although that isn’t saying much!

Don’t get me wrong..I love Heidi but the songs she’s been releasing lately aren’t nearly as good as Body Language.

  2. ella Says:

Yeah, I don’t know how much syncing the music to the video is going to help with the fact that the song is ridic and the video is lame.

  3. Joanne Says:

Trent - is this girl paying you for her publicity drive???

  4. ju ju bean Says:

Wouldn’t it be great if the problem wasn’t fixable! Ooops.

  5. Amy Says:

Someone actuallly watched her video long enough to figure this out.

  6. Joanna Says:

a more entertaining viewing experience? you have got to be kidding.

  7. Tricia Says:

Trent - I love you. But enough is enough. No more of this girl. I beg of you.

  8. F Says:

Since when does american apparel uses blond idiots instead of slutty mexican immigrants in their ads anyways???

God. She should apologize for existing. Period.

  11. julie Says:

LOL @ F. I didn’t even bother with the video. The stills were lame enough. I don’t necessarily hate Heidi, but I have no use for her.

  12. Nicola Says:

I have to agree with Joanne’s comment completely. I thought blogs were about freedom of expression/opinion/thought? How the heck can Trent be a fan of decent artists and then listen to this mongrel?

  13. Andrea Says:

Trent - it seems like you are, in some form or fashion, on Speidi’s payroll. As a dedicated long-time reader of your site, I wish you would come clean about it.

December, 2007: “I’m sorry, but nothing that Speidi does looks, sounds, or feels genuine.”
January, 2008: “I got to spend quite a bit of one-on-one time with both Heidi Montag & Spencer Pratt…”
June, 2008: “They are so well suited for one another … I fully expect they’ll be together forever … possibly, one day, ruling the world.”

    Quite the change of heart.

  14. Angela Says:

I agree with Tricia and Joanne. Enough Heidi is enough. thank you.

  15. Lauraloo Says:

is it just me, or does it seem like they stole the idea for this vid from Olivia Newton John’s “Let’s Get Physical”??

  16. julie Says:

Um… I think that was the point - an obvious visual nod, like Jennifer Lopez’s “What a Feeling”/Flashdance style video.

  17. Melissa Says:

oh my… I am embarrassed for her; I can’t even find the words to describe how hurting for fame she is.

  18. Nessa Says:

Theres no excuse..This video REMAIN the WORST video in HISTORY!

  19. Amy Says:

Am I missing something? This is terrible. Is it suppose to be a joke? Like everyone is saying, trying to mimic flashdance? Needless to say, Heidi has failed.

  20. steven Says:

GAH the song sucks ass anyway someone tell her not to bother to fix the video PLEASE

  21. ginae Says:

  22. Aly Says:

Hahaha, she has no talent and a scary swinging jaw, but bitch has got sweet hair.

  23. MandiJ Says:

I am not sure there is one thing on God’s green earth that can “correct” that piece of crap video. I got maybe 10 seconds in before pausing it, much longer and I would have had a gun to my head. I am pretty sure that we have all had enough of tits on a stick and her punk ass boyfriend!!!!!!!
