Heather Matarazzo Is Gettin’ Hitched
Woot! I am very happy to report that Heather Matarazzo, best known for her role as Dawn in Welcome to the Dollhouse but more recently from her films The Princess Diaries and Hostel II, has gotten herself engaged to be married to her longtime girlfriend Carolyn Murphy. Please join me in wishing these two lovely ladies much congrats and love at this amazing news:
25-year-old actress Heather Matarazzo is officially engaged to musician Carolyn Murphy, Matarazzo’s publicist announced today. Lisa Jammal told E! News that Matarazzo “is engaged to Carolyn Murphy. They’ve been together for over a year.” It was “love at first sight,” according to Jammal. They both proposed to each other, “It was really cute. First Heather proposed to Carolyn, then Carolyn proposed to her.” The two are very supportive of each other and totally in love, Jammal added. No date for the wedding has been announced.
I have been a huge fan of Heather’s for years and was very fortunate to be able to do a short interview with her for Hostel II last year. I was able to meet Carolyn when she accompanied Heather to the 40th Anniversary party for The Advocate magazine last September — they were such an adorable couple then, I’m not surprised that they popped the question to each other ;) Much congrats to both Heather and Carolyn and I wish them a long and happy life together.

wow, Heather has had a crap of cosmetic surgery. Hey, listen she looks great. She’s a real talent but man she was an ugly boot before. She look simply lovely now. I’m happy for her. Now can she convince her fiance to get some work done..she looks like a buick.

That’s unfair Kari – She had her overbite fixed and changed her hair. Oh – and she is no longer a teenager – that always helps! Give her a break! The great thing about the Lesbian world is that it accepts all kinds of beauty – not just the LA idea of what beautiful is.
