Perhaps there wouldn’t be a need to sell the tunnel had it not been for the fact that $8 mill was paid out as settlement money to two men who tried to do the right thing.

Please do not compare Kwame and Coleman Young Jr. See people this is a prime example of what happens when you are to cocky and think your above the Law. Never mess with the Judicial system. Its sad because he is making it harder for our young generation and African Americans to succeed in a political setting/office etc. because of his foolishness. He needs to apologize himself to Detroit citizens and all of our Police Officers and firefigheters who put there life on the line everyday. Sad day Detroit, this is not funny :(…

i am currently sitting in class at the university of michigan, and we just had a 45 min. conversation about this story. as a citizen of detroit, i am ashamed of this douchebag and i hope that my fellow kwame suppoting citizens realize that this dude is NOT FIT TO LEAD THE CITY ANY LONGER, nor was he ever fit for that matter. im just glad that one of these officials finally had the balls to do whats right, and make him accountable for his actions
