I’ve seen the play Equus (though it was a production in Australia, not one with Daniel Radcliffe in it). It’s a crappy, stupid story that is completely boring and, as far as I can tell, it has no relevance at all to anything or anyone these days, and I doubt if it did at the time it was written, either. Equus should have been left where it came from, back in the 70’s.

(But I am a fan of Daniel Radcliffe, by the way!)

oooo the fuss is well deserved – it’s definitely worth seeing (saw it twice on the West End). have you read the play/seen the film? Dan’s character Alan has a very “special” relationship with his horse – did think the London run pics were better/more interesting but hell more explicit-hinting works too!

I saw it a while ago in London, and was pleasantly surprised.
I came to the play as a huge fan of the original material, but expecting nothing, slightly irritated by the hype, and thinkin I would just see the usual harry potter acting which is just, not so good.
I was mistaken, it was a great night of theatre. Honestly it’s a fascinating work and I hope that the play will be as good on Broadway as it was on the West End, because it was indeed, one of the best performance I’ve seen coming from him.
