Daniel Radcliffe, who will be reprising his Equus role on Broadway next month, is featured in the new issue of Vogue magazine in a couple new photos shot by famed photographer Annie Leibovitz. The first pic was snapped for the magazine, the second pic (I understand) will be used as a promo photo for Equus on Broadway … here is the first, clothed pic:
The second pic is more … risqué … it features Daniel laying atop a big horse completely nekkid while veteran stage actor and his Equus co-star Richard Griffiths stands by looking … uncomfortable (or constipated, I can’t really tell). After the jump, check out the semi-NSFW image …

UHHH … it’s a weird pic, no question. If you’re interested in seeing a larger version of this image you can see it HERE. I’m not sure how I feel about this pic. I think his promo pics for the West End run of Equus were more interesting. That being said, David and I do have third row center seats for Equus on Broadway next month. I’m interested to see what all the fuss is about. I guess I’ll also be finding out if Harry Potter‘s magic wand is worth all the hype ;)

I love him but that second picture is so weird. It looks like a promo picture for the Donkey Show in Tiajuna Mexico. Someone has to go and see this play and send back pictures. I must see his treats:)!!

I do think that Dan Rad is a good actor, I know that all child stars get a bit of grief from the critics but I honestly think that Dan will grow up to be a great thespian , just like his hero, Christian Bale.

I saw it a while ago in London, and was pleasantly surprised.
I came to the play as a huge fan of the original material, but expecting nothing, slightly irritated by the hype, and thinkin I would just see the usual harry potter acting which is just, not so good.
I was mistaken, it was a great night of theatre. Honestly it’s a fascinating work and I hope that the play will be as good on Broadway as it was on the West End, because it was indeed, one of the best performance I’ve seen coming from him.
