Yesterday we got our first look at the first promo image for the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards that features our dear Britney Spears along with VMAs host Russell Brand and a 900 lb. elephant (in the room) which immediately got everyone (me included) all jazzed at the prospect that Britney might be making a return to the VMAs stage to redeem herself. Speculation seems pretty convinced that she will be making a triumphant return to the VMAs stage next month, I personally am just crossing my fingers and hoping for the best (she’s gonna do it, she’s gonna do it, she’s gonna do it). She really does look amazing again … she has been lookin’ this good for months now. I will continue to proclaim just how pleased I am at how well Britney has been doing these past few amazing months. She’s on task, ready for action and ready to reclaim her throne atop the pop music scene … I can feel it :) She is such a far cry from where she was around this time last year … and she’s gonna just keep gettin’ better — you’ll see.

I love the way you support Britney. I agree. She has been totally amazing these past several months. But I do want her to take the performing thing slow, in small steps until her confidence is back.
I just worry that shes gonna fall back into it like any 14 year old, when papa spears loses his ability to keep her in line… She does look amazing compared to the last few years though

Um. Seriously. She’s not hideous or obese or anything but I wouldn’t go so far as to say she’s spectacularly hot in these pics…though kudos to her for not hanging out with that creepy Adnan guy, going into convenience store bathrooms barefoot or flashing her coochie in public anymore.
I’d rather her looking like she has a lil belly than looking like she’s all strung out on something.
Although, I have a lil belly myself, so maybe I’m just biased!

So let me get this straight… skinny little new mom Jamie Lynn looks bad, but pudgy trollop Britney looks amazing? The only thing they have in common is skanky hair. I do not understand the fascination with this has-been.
i love britney to pieces, but i’m a little annoyed about the whole jamie-lynn thing earlier. soooo, even though brit’s kids are practically in college and not living with her, she couldn’t be bothered to run a brush through her hair either.

I think she looks pretty good, ask any of the women commenting in here to stand in front of a mirror and then look at teir profile, the belly does not sit flat, Im glad shes this weight, id rather britney be a little heavy than anorexic… cause as soon as she got too skinny the media would eat it up and say she had a eating disorder… then what? Feed Britney campaigns? anyway, she looks GREAT, and the VMA’s are gonna rock.
She has two kids under the age of three – people … and your wondering why her stomach is not flat as a board? Stop the crazy-ness! Brit looks healthy and incredibly toned. That’s all a girl can wish for!
So sad that a girl can’t be considered “hot” by some of you if she’s not super thin. Hot isn’t only about weight… it’s that X factor. It’s so much healthier for all of us if celebrities aren’t always perfect, don’t you think?

i do hope she makes a “comeback” at the vmas, but i don’t agree that she’s rockin’ a “hawt” body. but it’s cool that she has an average woman’s body now and it’s more realistic to those little girls who still look up to her.
