Britney Spears Shops Pottery Barn
Now that speculation concerning whether or not Britney Spears will perform at this year’s MTV Video Music Awards (after Brit’s manager Larry Rudolph has killed all hope that she would be performing) we can move on to other Britney Spears matters … like her redecorating habits. Brit Brit was snapped doing a bit of shopping yesterday at the Pottery Barn in Beverly Hills, CA. She apparently was in the market for fake flowers and scented candles, behold:
Capris aside (yeesh!), Britney really does look great. And while I’m extremely bummed that she won’t be performing at the VMAs, I trust that she’s got big plans up her sleeves. In retrospect, I guess I can understand why Brit may not have wanted to perform this time around. Last year, her song Gimme More was BLOWING THE EFF UP on the radio right before the VMAs took place, it made sense for her to try and capitalize on that momentum. This year, she has no such single on the radio (tho, I contend that she could perform her song Piece of Me, which is nominated for the Video of the Year award [among other awards] at this year’s VMAs) and an album that is still months away from completion … so, instead of preparing for a killer on stage performance, she’s happy to shop for aromatherapy candles at Pottery Barn. In the end, as long as she’s happy and healthy that’s all that matters. I even support her love of capri pants … such is my lurve for our dear Britney :)

AMEN ANNA. loving the outfit. looking very end-of-summer-esque. and i love how shes looking. whats not to understand about her hair… its fake and probably not that easy to fuss with. i wonder how long her natural locks are now. brit… if ur reading… id love to see ur pad and what ur doing to it as far as decorating… and babysit the little ones! :) much love!

She looks AMAZING! She really is in great shape and seems very happy! She is totally getting back to her prime. I cannot wait until she drops another album and hopefully tours! I would be there in a heartbeat.
And I agree with whoever said it, she needs to show the inside of her house. Isn’t it Life & Style that does that? Or maybe she could do a Women’s magazine. It may help re-legitimize her.

Wow Britney looks great, this is the first time shes actually looked really normal in a long time and her hair isnt crazy, and shes not wearing to short of a dress i love it. I just wish shed stop with those extensions or atleast get ones that dont look like extensions until her hair grows back long enough for her not to need em. That outfit looks good on her though i think snadals or flip flops would look better than those heels.

Brit looks great. Im loving the capris, the white tank, the heels, and the lipstick. She is cleaning up so well! I love it. The hair isnt move star pretty but nice enough for an errand to Pottery Barn. I hope she continues to get well.

I think she looks so much better than last year! It’s a drastic improvement…and yay for Pottery Barn. Altough I’m not a fan of faux flowers, burnt orange is a good color for fall and she’s taking interest in her home for once.
I don’t think it’s the best time for her to perform at the VMA’s either. Just give her one more year to recoop from everything…she’ll be back on top in no time!

I’m sorry, but no man “jacked up” Britney’s life singlehandedly. The girl is mentally ill. K-Fed is not a hero by any means, but it’s silly to place all the blame on him. And I’m no Britney fan, but she does look passable here.
