Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake To Make Beautiful Music Together
OMG! OMG! OMG! The day that longtime, diehard Britney Spears fans have been dreaming about for years (and prolly never thought would ever come to pass) may actually be closer than was previously believed. The New York Post is reporting today that the much-desired duet between our dear Britney and Justin Timberlake may become a reality … rumor has it there is talk that a duet between the two, if ever recorded that is, may show up on Brit’s new album:
THE long-awaited duet between Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake may finally be recorded. Spies said Spears will team up with her ex-love for a song on her next album due at the end of the year. The two were supposed to team up for her last album, but Spears - under the influence of friends including Osama Lutfi and Adnan Ghalib - missed her recording session with Timbaland at the legendary producer’s Virginia Beach studio last August. “She just didn’t show up,” our spies said at the time.
Now, I want to be a bit conservative with my elation right now because I’m not sure my frail little heart can stand the disappointment of this duet not happening … again. But this is encouraging to hear. I absolutely recall when rumors started last year that Brit Brit and JT were gonna record a duet with Timbaland and was bummed when it never happened … and I agree, Sam Lutfi was absolutely behind the duet not taking place. This duet has a real chance of actually happening … at least as far as Britney is concerned. She’s much healthier and now has the right people in her life to help steer her in the right direction. But, we should remember, this is just a Page Six rumor. Even still … I’m hopeful that Britney and Justin will reunite again, at least professionally … and then they can fall in love and live happily ever after!!!

Sam Lutfi was not the reason the duet didn’t happen previously. Man, you die hard Britney fans refuse to face reality. Let Britney take responsibilty for her own actions. Her inability to take responsibility for anything is why she continues to be controlled. She’s obviously incapable of conducting business or acting as an adult which is why her mommy and daddy have to babysit her and why she falls apart without someone pulling her strings. She’s not healthier, she hasn’t learned how to be a better mother, person or singer she’s just drugged up and forced to do as she’s told. I wouldn’t be surprised if she was being brainwashed too. So sad that she has the capabilities of a 12 yr old.
I think the only reason Justin would do a duet is to say he’s the one to save Britney, like he claimed to save the Grammy’s and McDonalds.

That teen romance had even less substance than Spederline, which is pretty sad. BTW, Trent, I applaud your attempt at restraint in regard to Britney News!

I think she is too good for Justin personally. I liked her last album a lot more than his and it’s annoying how he gets all the critical accolades when he would be nowhere without Timbaland and Pharell. I hate how arrogant he has become. I think he is to blame for everyone turning on Britney in the first place, because he couldn’t be a gentleman and keep his big mouth shut about their private life. His biggest hit was Cry Me a River, with the Britney look-a-like in the video. To me, he’s no better than any random famewhore hanging onto Britney - he would still be known as a boy bander if it wasn’t for the “scandal” with Britney. I’m just over Justin in general and hope she stays clear of him and finds someone hotter so he can eat his heart out.

She never told the world she was saving herself. She said in one interview when she was like 16 that she hopes to be able to wait until marriage and then never talked about it again. He blabbed to Barbara Walters that they had been having sex all along and he also blabbed about her cheating and then wrote a whiny immature song about it so everyone would be sure to take his side. We’ll never know the details of what happened but it was always their business, and not ours and it was super tacky of him to do what he did. Especially considering how it made the world turn on her viciously and was the start of her downfall. A person can only take so much before they crack. It’s sexism plain and simple - the guy always comes out smelling like a rose and the girl is always hated.

I think she should stay away from him! He’s done nothing but write songs with innuendos about Britney, being photographed with K.Fed when those two were breaking up (to torment her) … and he did not have a supportive thing to say when asked about Brit on Oprah. She does not need to be going backwards right now. She needs to look to the future. J.T. is not some knight in shining armour who is going to come back and save her.

well said M, deep down we are all just human, we are vulnerable. and i can only imagine the kind of life britney has led, never really being able to just be a kid and be free. she was is in pageants and talent shows starting at a very young age. growing up in the public eye, and having your first love be the topic of national attention, the pressure is probably unbearable a lot of the time.
and julie, give me a break. you were a teenager once, i dont know about you, but my first love, when i was sixteen was tumultuous and all encompassing. i felt that i would die for him. we were together for two and a half years and when we broke up, i thought that my heart had died inside of me. your first love is like no other, and obviously they cared deeply for each other, and then severely hurt each other.
give britters a break, shes just a young mom who is scared and feels like she cant trust anyone around her. i think shes more lonely than you could ever imagine.
