Anyone with merely a passing knowledge of celebritydom knows that Jennifer Aniston is not a fan of being photographed by the paparazzi. She, very famously, bragged about how she owns multiple pieces of the same outfits so that she can wear the same thing day after day to try and discourage the paps from taking photos of her that all look the same. Someone who would go to these lengths does not expend a lot of energy smiling for pap shots either … especially when pretty much everyone is all abuzz about her recent breakup with John Mayer. This is why I was pretty surprised to see these new photos of Jen making her way out of a dinner with friends at Nobu in NYC lookin’ rosy-cheeked and doing the seemingly impossible … she was actually smiling:

Unlucky-in-love Jennifer Aniston is probably feeling hurt after her latest break-up, with rocker John Mayer. But the 39-year-old certainly didn’t show it as she left an exclusive New York eatery with a big smile on her face after dining with friends. The former Friends star and the musician split over his lack of commitment according to sources. He blamed their “different chemistry”.

You know what, good for her. I sometimes give Jen grief but I do feel a bit bad things don’t seem to work out for her romantically. I actually liked her with John Mayer but … well … sometimes you have to just pick up and move on … and that’s what she looks like she’s doing. Any of y’all have any thoughts on who would make a nice new guy for Ms. Aniston?
