A ‘Morgan Family’ Affair
Dexter co-stars Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter, who play brother and sister Dexter and Deb Morgan on screen, appear to still be very much an item as the two were spotted out and about enjoying an intimate afternoon of grocery shopping … take a look:

The first time that we saw these two out in public together (ie. together together) was late last year when the couple were first spied out on a date together. While I *still* find it creepy that these on-screen sibs are dating in real life (because I have a problem separating reality from TV) I think they look good together. I understand, by way of a little bird in the know, that they are very happy together and I guess that is all that matters. New eps of Dexter premiere on Showtime on September 28 … so, woot!

Better that than the other way around, siblings off-screen and lovers on a la Chyler and Christopher Leigh – that was VERY icky.

Love the show, love the 2 of them. Can’t wait for the next season!!!!

Ok technically, they’re not really brother an d sister in the show, seeing as dexter was adopted.
can’t wait til the third season, it’s the best tv show at the moment.

Could be worse – mother and son relationship on screen.
Anyways, like I always say, I loves me some Dexter.

He is way too good for her, on-screen and off. She’s manly, awkward, and crass, and there’s no way that is all just an act. I’m skeeved for purely aesthetic reasons!!!

To each his own as far as what and who looks good. I think JC is so very cute. She and MCH are double cute together. Their relationship makes me smile :) I really don’t get the Jen/Deb hate. Sorry, but I’m sure she’s *good* enough for him…but, is he good enough for her :)
And, excuse me, but they play brother and sister on a TV SHOW. It’s like, um…pretend. Besides, they’re not even really brother and sister on the show, either. He’s adopted.

Because I have trouble separating tv from reality I still see him as gay David from Six Feet Under, so I’m having a hard time believing he’s straight!!

Ditto on that, andi!!! I totally see him as David and, therefore, seeing him with anyone other than Keith is just weird.
BTW…I am comforted by the fact that I’m not the only one who has issues with the whole TV vs. Reality distinction. =)

Well, I have no problem with those two dating. They seem both to be nice, grounded people, so their relationship will last long, I hope. He is not gay , not a serial killer, and Jennifer is not his sister – so what?
A TV Show is NOT Reality, A TV Show is not Reality, A TV Show is not Reality… Repeat this!

i agree with so many of the coments. some times i forget he’s not gay XD
and also, i find it way weird that their dating, but since they’re adopted siblings it should make it better, but it doesnt. cuz they dont act like that. i truly believe that they never realy think about it that way, the characters that is :P

Gosh, MCH is soooooo hot! But I think Dexter is even hotter… I guess that makes me a little bit sick.

I love Dexter.
And I find no reason why these two should not be together.
Perhaps…
it is because I can separate TV from real
…even though it is a struggle.
LOVE MICHAEL C HALL

Every time I watch an episode of Dexter, my bf and I cannot stand the poor girl’s face. Almost as bad as Rumer…blegh. Do not want.

He must be getting her to eat because she doesn’t look skeletal in that picture, she usually does on the show. I don’t really like her character.

Gawd, you people the don”t know how to distinguish tv. vs. reality need to get a life…I’m guess you can’t distinguish it because ALL you do is watch tv.
Both are fabulous actors which makes Dexters the best show around.
Her characters is manly, crass and they purposely dress her bad to emphasize that…she is a great actress and can be perform more feminine roles with just as much…and again dexter in NOT a serial killer.
Its perfectly normal for costars (NOT siblings) to find each other attractive since they already practically live and eat together on set. They are in the same field and have similar interests…its incredibly common for costars to date.
Let them be and hope that remains a great relationships so they don’t have to make any cast changes next season :P
