People are going to compare everything about it to the original. Its going to seem like they are trying way too hard and the cast doesn't seem that strong enough to hold up to the task of living the 90210 life. and seriously, who really cares about the "poor rich people" any more, those shows were all done in the 80's and 90's. It will do well in the ratings the first few ep's only because people will be curious to what they are going to do, but i don't think this new generation is going to really want to watch this show. Its just going to be compared to Gossip Girl and although that show does get a lot of attention, mostly because of it's cute guys, the show itself does not do that well in the ratings.
