E! News is reporting that Gwen Stefani has given birth … but is very light on the deets. In fact, the details they do provide are still unconfirmed (they’re not even sure of the baby’s gender). But, I’ve been hearing, too, that Gwen gave birth today but have been waiting for official confirmation before making the call. This report seems about as likely as any other:

E! News has confirmed Gwen Stefani gave birth this morning. We still don’t know whether it’s a boy or girl, but sources say the baby’s name is Zuma. More details to come as we get them!

Zuma sounds like a girl’s name to me … if, in fact, that is the baby’s name. Much love and congrats goes out to Gwen and Gavin Rossdale. Stay tuned for more deets and, hopefully, an official statement from the couple.

UPDATE: People magazine has official confirmation that A.) Gwen gave birth and B.) Zuma is a boy:

It’s a rock band in the making: Gwen Stefani and her rocker husband Gavin Rossdale welcomed their second child, a son, on Thursday in Los Angeles, PEOPLE has learned. The couple named the boy Zuma Nesta Rock Rossdale, a rep for Stefani says. Zuma joins the couple’s other son Kingston, who turned 2 in May.

Yay! Much congrats!!! Oh and sorry ’bout that Zuma sounds like a girl thing … but, it kinda does :)

I … uh … am shocked, y’all. I never thought … I didn’t know it was possible … I … here is a picture of Vicki B. not only looking happy at a soccer match this week at Wembley Stadium in the UK (a match that David Beckam was playing) … but open-mouth laughing out loud and cheering with ecstatic glee with her children:

DAVID BECKHAM might have notched up a whopping 103 England caps in his career, but wife VICTORIA clearly still enjoys watching her man in action. The former Spice Girl was snapped cheering on the team with sons BROOKLYN, ROMEO and CRUZ, David’s sister JOANNE and mum SANDRA from a box at Wembley. Becks was substituted with 10 minutes left to play – but proud Sandra remained loyal and stayed to watch her son emerge onto the pitch at the end to swap shirts and wave his thanks to the crowd.

How is this possible? The only thing that makes sense is that Vicki B. recently got a tune-up to make her appear more … human. Technology just amazes me sometimes. She looks great, no?

Woot! It’s really beginning to sound like my suspicions that Britney Spears will, in fact, be performing at the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards next month are correct. E! News is reporting that celebrity hairstylist (and judge on Bravo‘s Shear Genius) Kim Vo has spilled the news that he is designing 3 different hairstyles for Britters for VMAs night — one for red carpet, one for the show and one for her live performance:

[C]hatty hairdresser … Kim Vo … told E! News exclusively that he just may be creating three VMA looks for the “E-mail My Heart” singer. What could Britney possibly need three different hairstyles for? … The first look would obviously be for the red carpet. Vo says he and Brit are still “feeling out” ideas about how that will look. The second style would be for the show itself, probably something “more chic, like a side ponytail.” And look No. 3 would be for her PERFORMANCE! That’s right, we said performance. For such an event, Vo and Brit want something “more quintessential Britney.” “Performance” and “quintessential Britney” said together could only mean our girl is definitely coming back to us.

See, the only thing that gives me pause right now is the bit about the “side ponytail”. Vo saying something like that makes me think that he may be kidding … but that still doesn’t mean that she won’t be performing, my gut still tells me that she will.

How cute are these pics … and I love that Gwen is cool with letting Britney watch her baby boy. Mebbe once Gwen finally births her baby, Britney will be asked to do some more babysitting in the future?

Also this week, Brit Brit was seen making her way out of Conway Studios here in LA lookin’ as smiley as can be …

… it’s unclear if she was working on her new album or if she was, perhaps, rehearsing for her rumored VMAs performance. In any event, she looks great and life seems to be going really well for our dear Britney right now. I hope the best is yet to come … we shall soon see.

Jamie Lynn Spears was spotted carrying her newborn baby girl Maddie Briann on a shopping trip in Kentwood, LA with her mother Lynne Spears days after Kelli Dawson tells In Touch Weekly that she was having an affair with JL‘s babydaddy Casey Aldridge while she was still pregs. Now, these pics could merely show that JL and Maddie were in town to visit grammy Lynne Spears but the Daily Mail seems to think that JL has packed up her bags and her baby and has left her home (and her babydaddy Casey) in Mississippi to live back home:

Britney Spears’ little sister Jamie Lynn cut a sad figure yesterday as she ventured out in public for the first time following allegations her fiancé had cheated on her. The 17-year-old actress’s relationship was been rocked by claims that Casey Aldridge, 19, had been having an affair with Kelli Dawson, 28. After the revelations last week, the Zoey 101 star and her two-month-old daughter Maddie Briann have fled the couple’s home in Mississippi to stay with her mother Lynne 30 miles away in Louisiana. Pictured for the first time since the reports, Jamie Lynn looked miserable as she joined mother Lynne and baby Maddie to buy a new mobile phone in a store in her hometown of Kentwood. Dressed for the hot weather in a denim mini skirt and white vest, Jamie Lynn was still wearing the engagement ring she accepted from Casey in March – just three months before their daughter was born. The couple, who have been dating for two years, were expecting to wed later this year, but their marriage plans have been thrown into jeopardy following the recent reports. Kelli told America’s InTouch Weekly magazine she had been dating Casey since November 2006 and had still been seeing him when Jamie Lynn was six months pregnant with Maddie – the same month he proposed.

I dunno … I think it’s far too early to assume that JL has moved out on Casey but it doesn’t sound totally unreasonable that a 17-year old girl might want to seek refuge and security at home after learning of suspected cheating on her boyfriend’s part. Baby or not, JL is still a young girl … it makes sense. It’s sad but I predict that this is only the beginning of Casey-Lynn‘s trubs. They’re just kids … and nothing that I’ve seen from either of them shows that they are ready to be self-sustaining parents. Whether or not there was cheating going on, I don’t think it’s a terrible idea for JL to get some help with her life right now. It might prove to be the best thing for her and her new family in the long run.

The poster artwork for the new Broadway production of Arthur Millers‘s All My Sons has been put on display outside the Schoenfeld Theatre in NYC. As you may know, All My Sons will feature Katie Holmes in her Broadway debut, alongside co-stars Dianne Wiest, John Lithgow and Patrick Wilson. Katie Holmes’s Broadway premiere is just around the corner, and her play bill image is ready to go. The poster for the revival of Arthur Miller’s All My Sons simply highlights the actress, along with costars John Lithgow, Dianne Wiest and Patrick Wilson. The family drama premieres Oct. 16, with previews beginning Sept. 18.

I find it curious that Tom Cruise made it a point of contention that now that Katie is married to him that she would no longer be referred to professionally as Katie but instead as Kate Holmes. But this new poster, for her Broadway debut, clearly credits her as “Katie Holmes“. In any event, I’m not sure if the world is ready for Katie to take on Broadway but … here she comes anyways. Do any of y’all think she can handle it?

Last night I got to hang out with my dear friend Gillian for a fun little pizza and drink date, which was long overdue. Because of our crazy schedules, Gillian and I haven’t had the time to get together as much as would’ve liked but at last we got our shizz straight and made a plan … after all, we had some celebratin’ to do. Gillian used to be the head honch-ess at TMZ up until this week when she moved on from the company to a bigger and IMHO better position elsewhere. I met up with G in Eagle Rock for a pizza dinner before we made our way to her favorite Pasadena watering hole, Magnolia, to finish out the night:

G introduced me to her friends and Magnolia owners Kerri and Brian and the bunch of us just had a great time getting to know one another and hanging out. It thrills me to no end that Gillian will now be working on more of a stable schedule so I can mebbe see her more than twice a year. We had a blast. Oh and if you’re ever in Pasadena, CA and you’re lookin’ for a great place to drink and snack — get to Magnolia (try the bread pudding and you’ll be thanking me).

Tonight, I’m planning to hang out with Darion for … whatevs. Life is good.

Dang … someone out in Londontown does not have a very good opinion of Miss Sienna Miller. Pretty much everyone on Earth is well aware of her most recent high-profile romantic relationship with the still-married Balthazar Getty and y’all may recall that she had been spending time with him here in SoCal for the past couple of weeks, only recently flying back home to London. Well, it looks like Sienna was met with a nasty surprise when she returned to her North London home earlier this week. I have censored the photo which is kinda NSFW, you can see the uncensored pic after the cut:

An exterior wall of Sienna’s home in North London was daubed, in capitals, with the word ‘SLUT’. The black spray-painted graffiti also included an unsettling circular symbol – which looks like an attempt to recreate the sign for Satan. The actress has attracted controversy for her relationship with married man BALTHAZAR GETTY. However Sienna maintains that he split from his wife before they got together. The clumsily written graffiti materialised despite the apparent presence of security lights and a burglar alarm system on the outside of the building.
