I saw the movie on Friday 18…It was Amazing…and i am glad that it shatterred the box office record and beat spiderman 3. Anyways HL performance was great…He defitnetly should receive an Oscar,Emmy for best villain and also Christian Bale did a very good job as the batman. I see a Trilogy coming…and the next villain in the third Batman will face hard times trying to outperforme better or as good as the previous villain The Joker

I thought Ledger deserved an Oscar for “Brokeback Mountain”, so I hope they give him a posthumous Oscar for TDK not just for his performance in this movie, but as an acknowledgement of both breathtaking performances.
It would be amazing to watch these two movies back-to-back to marvel at the range of Ledger’s talent!

Even the fire-alarm going off did nothing to diminish the awesomeness of this movie. And Ledger was just amazing!

Saw the movie last night and it was AMAZING. Totally lives up to all the hype! Heath Ledger was absolutely chilling-he’d better get at least an Academy Award nom over this!

I do think there’s a lot more hype because of Ledger’s death than there would have been if he were still alive, but I still went into the theater at midnight to see it. I’m a big Christian Bale fan, whereas I’ve always thought Heath was a good actor but other than that never been big on his movies.

To put it simply, his performance blew me away. HL was absolutely brilliant. He IS the Joker, and he deserves recognition for it.

I originally had no desire to see this movie, but decided I wanted to make up my own mind about Heath’s performance and WOW! He was FANTASTIC! It is very sad to know that this was his last movie, but regardless, this was a stellar performance and he deserves all the recognition he is getting!

The movie was tediously long. They poured too much effort in the end to the Dent storyline that should have been saved for another film.

That being said… Ledger was freakin’ phenomenal. Beyond words… there wasn’t a moment that you could spot the Aussie in this role as Ledger himself, he was completely immersed as the Joker and the movie was enjoyable to watch while he was on screen. The movie seemed to get stuck anytime there wasn’t the Joker.

A good movie, not the greatest, and not really a masterpiece.

I watched this movie this weekend and it was so damn good! It was kind of long but well worth every penny. I think everyone did a fantastic job in the movie. I am so happy Katie Holmes wasn’t in this one. Maggie Gyllenhaal did an awesome job!!

I completely agree Jane…it’s nice to know I’m not the only one not joining the giant bandwagon.

Yeah…if a shit film like Juno got academy noms, anything could. That film was so chronically boring, and I wanted to tell Michael Cera to quit ‘acting’ and do go something more worthy of his monotonous nature. The only good thing about the film was Ellen Page, I was even disappointed in Garner whom I wub :(

I wonder how much money it will make on Thursday when it opens in the UK? :P

I wonder if Heath Ledger were still alive if it would be as hot. I haven’t seen it yet so I have no right to comment but death is always a draw, esp. if this is the last time we’ll get to see something new from HL. Such a loss!

I saw TDK at midnight opening day. I was sad leaving the theatre knowing I will never again see Heath Ledger in anything.I still can’t believe he is gone. I am glad knowing his last movie was such a history maker. He could have been the biggest star in the world right now.. I will miss him…………
