OK! magazine posted the last of their exclusive photos of Maddie Briann Spears-Aldridge, including a look at the little tyke’s nursery, on their site — these pics make up the full set of photos from their photoshoot with new mama Jamie Lynn Spears and baby Maddie:
Again, these pics are so cute … much cuter than some of the published photos. Since Maddie’s birth, mother and daughter have yet to venture out into the big bad world … I suppose it won’t be long until we see these two out in the wild.

She’s 17 and a new mom with photogs prolly telling her they need to see the baby’s face or hold her more in the light, etc., of course she’s gonna look uncomfortable and awkward. The baby looks just like her daddy, tho. I bet she’ll turn out to be a really cute little thing.

You know, I hate it how everyone is saying how great it is and how happy Jamie Lynn is about this baby… she is SIXTEEN years old. This should not be glamorized so that other 16 year olds think that its a fun thing to do…

Blah…she is so boring to me. I understand she has a child but why I am suppose to care? I have never been a fan of her work like her older sister. She is just BLAH in book! I like Brit Brit way more!

is it me or does anyone else think her hair makes her look like a 40 year old? that two tone look is so not for her.

Haha, the first pic is such a ‘Sup Bitches’ photo.
Personally, I think Jamie Lynn will have a tough road ahead of her, and I hope she realizes it.

I totally agree, LJ. She has never looked her age, even b4 the pregnancy and hair tone. She has an old face. I dunno . . . she doesn’t look anything like any of the 16/17 y/olds I know.
She def. looks at least 30!

she looks weird, because she has no idea what to do with that baby……………. And I’m wondering what ok magazine’s motive was, in putting THE WORST of the pics in their magazine, and leaving out all the better ones….

These pictures are so much better!!!! Seriously, what was their photographer/ editor/ whoever thinking when they put those other funkyass pics in the mag?? I agree with Jane, she was posing for pictures for a magazine, of course she was only holding her however the photographer told her to. And her hair looks quite polished and nice if you ask me. Some people just have to find something, anything, to poke fun at people for.

yeah, because i’m sure that’s how she holds maddie when it’s just the two of them and there are no photographers standing around…. just like i’m sure that’s how she dresses and wears her hair and makeup when she’s not posing for millions of nosy americans to read about her personal life and decide for themselves how good of a mother/person she truly is. I think this sort of picture shoot for a 17 year old mum with a family that has ALOT of money glamourises teenage motherhood for her fans. I can just see some kids getting all broody because thye see the cute crib and nursery that JL was able to provide for her daughter, fact is for most kids being a Mum at this age is something you can never recover from in terms of finance or education, and therefore future employment. They make it look and sound too easy when in fact motherhood is one of the hardest things you can do.

Honestly… who are you people to condemn Jamie Lynn for making the decision she did? Teenagers have sex all over the world, and yea… sometimes accidents happen, no matter what “protection” you use. JL is NOT the first teen to get pregnant and decide to keep the baby… Yes, she will have a smoother road ahead because she has millions in the bank, but it sure as hell won’t make hearing some of these remarks easy to take.
You forget that she IS a 17 year old girl… she IS young. Of course she’s not going to know everything about raising a baby, but thank God her mother & supporters will be there to help her. Some teen mothers have to do everything on their own because of people like you who just see it as a ‘huge misake’.
These pictures are gorgeous, and I wish JL (And Britney for that matter) all the luck in the world! I hope they can move past all the “haters” and just be happy in their lives.

Agreed. JL is by no means the first teenage girl to face the situation she’s in, even though I’m sure every case of teenage pregnancy from this point on will be pinned on her and the terrible “influence” she inflicted on other kids her age. Honestly, i’d love to see what all these haters have to say 5 years from now when everyone has forgotten about this and jamie-lynn is proving all of you wrong. Bottom line, you’re deranged if you think this “glamorization” is going to make teen pregnancy rates skyrocket, because as utterly stupid as you may think all teenagers are, no teenager (at least no decent, educated teenager) is willing to PURPOSELY sacrifice his/her social life and future for a child, if they don’t have to. The fairy-tale story of one filthy rich celebrity is not going to change that, so give the girl a break and let her do her thing.

That baby is sooooo sweet!!! I’m glad they released these pictures; if only they had put them in the magazine! Not that they’ll read this, but I wish Jamie Lynn and Casey all the best; it may be a rough road, but it’s all so worth it!
