After celebrating her 22nd birthday with her 50 most intimate friends at her prom-themed birthday party last week, Lindsay Lohan spent the rest of her weekend enjoying the quiet pleasures of SoCal with an even smaller group of intimate friends, including her younger brother and sister Michael and Ali Lohan. Here are a few pics of Lindsay and her BFF Samantha Ronson picking up a few DVDs from their friendly neighborhood Blockbuster Video over the weekend, presumably for a quiet night in with friends:
You will note that the girls picked up the straight-to-video movie Get a Clue which stars none other than Lindsay Lohan herself … clearly, it was the better choice than, say, her last movie I Know Who Killed Me which was pretty wretched. To get the weekend started right, tho, Lindsay packed up a few friends, her sister Ali, her brother Michael and his girlfriend and spent the day at Disneyland:

The pair took their romance to new heights, piling in for a ride on a Alice In Wonderland themed roller coaster … By yesterday, the couple were in the mood for a quite night in, stopping off to collect a DVD at their local Blockbusters. After broswing through the shelves, the bemused pair settled on renting one of Lindsay’s straight to DVD movies, Get a Clue, as well as Pirate Of The Caribbean.
I don’t care what anyone says about Lindsay these days, I love that she is able to keep her life free from dangerous drama and can, in fact, live a normal life free of hazardous decisions. As long as she surrounds herself with her family and her closest friends, the ones who really care about her, she should be able to continue moving forward in a happy and positive way. If the most “exciting” thing that Lindsay is doing these days is riding the tea cups at Disneyland then I’m all for it. I’m proud of her progress and I hope she keeps saying no to the bad influences and yes to living a life worth living.

hhhmmm….I usually don’t find Samantha…lets say…attractive. In that last picture she actually looks a little cute….She looks like she actually did something to herself.
say what you want about her last movie, but i personally didnt think that I Know Who Killed Me, was THAT bad of a movie, it was decent.
I know who killed me was a horrible movie. Get a Clue was made specifically as a disney channel movie kind of like High School Musical. So, technically that’s all it was ever meant for.
why is it so hard for you and others to just SAY IT FLAT OUT????

When I saw the roller coaster pix on another site, I thought…thats interesting that Angie Harmon is hanging out with Linds…It is unbelievable that Ali is only 15, tragic how hard that family lives.

Either way, Samantha seems to be doing excellent at keeping LiLo off the streets. No matter what her career is like I’m glad she seems to be personally doing well.
So her and Samantha are really girlfriends? I can never figure it out. lol

I love the 3rd picture…it shows a real couple…It looks as though Sam made some kind of funny remark about Linds movie something like “Oh man this movie sucked” and Linds is giving that cute flirty look back like “Aww feel bad for me” or “It’s not taht bad is it?” I think they are good together

I have to agree with iu. I’m not going to say Trent isn’t writing the posts but I have noticed an increasing number of obvious typos which seems to show less effort is being put into the posts.
That being said, other than that, I’m still enjoying the blog :) .
I think they’re really cute together…Samantha seems to keep her grounded…which is what she needs!

I’m just happy that Linds is doing well and seems happy and settled instead of frazzled and cracked out. Sam has been great for her and I hope their relationship, however they want to classifiy it, endures.
Has anyone commented that Samantha is all bones? Looks frighteningly unnatural.
Sam’s naturally skinny (but the smoking does not help). I love these two together! It’s beyond cute!
I love Samantha Ronson and Lindsay too…I think Sam is a good influence to Lilo and they look so cute together…I really hope to see them together for a long time..I don’t get enough of them…..xo
