Jim And Derek’s House Party
Yesterday afternoon, family and friends of my good buddies Jim and Derek gathered together at their home to help them celebrate and warm their house at their housewarming party. It was just about a year ago that Jim and Derek met, in China of all places, and here we were, a year later, celebrating their acquisition of their beautiful new home. Here are a couple pics from yesterday’s festivities:
Because Jim and Derek were flitting around making sure to spend time with all of their guests, I got to hang out with Darion, Michael and his friend Hugo for most of the afternoon (hence our desire to pose for a Real Housewives of The OC photo with the oranges). I also got to meet Jim and Derek’s friend Jenny (who they worked with on America’s Next Top Model) who I hope to, one day, introduce to Outback Steakhouse Aussie Cheese Fries ;)
The weather was really very nice yesterday and a great time was had by all. I must give props to the guys for having the foresight to hire a bartender for their party … it made the drinking experience much more enjoyable :) Much love and congrats goes out to Jim and Derek on the official warming of their house, I couldn’t be happier for the both of them.
Tonight, I think Michael and I are going to finally try and see our movie together … it’s about the 45th try so hopefully we’ll be successful … I guess we’ll see ;)
