Jenny McCarthy & Jim Carrey To The ‘Rescue’
Jenny McCarthy and Jim Carrey played host at an event here in LA last night for Generation Rescue, a non-profit organization that was formed by parents of children who have been diagnosed with childhood neurological disorders (Autism, Asperger’s, ADHD, ADD, PDD-NOS and other learning disabilities). Jenny became involved with the organization after she discovered that her son Evan suffers from autism. Some of Jenny Mac’s friends — including Britney Spears, the newly single Sarah Silverman and Rose McGowan — came out to lend their support for the organization. Here are a few pics from the red carpet arrivals:

First off, what a great organization to lend your support to. So much is not known about these sorts of neurological disorders … I think it’s amazing that like-minded mothers got together to take an active step in creating awareness. I believe this is the first “non-party” event that Britney Spears has attended in many months. As you may recall, she agreed to let her ex-husband Kevin Federline have permanent physical custody of her sons Sean Preston and Jayden James earlier this week … and here she is, lending her support to charity (and lookin’ pretty hawt, I might add). I’m going to assume she had no ulterior motives for coming out to this event. In fact, I really do believe that all the celebs who came out last night did so for the right reasons. Kudos to Jenny and Jim for using their high profile celebrity to aid this cause. Color me impressed.

I am speechless!!! Britney looks fabulous. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw this picture. She is making some major improvements. And I think that giving permanent physical custody of her children to K-Fed was a very wise move. She can still spend time with her beautiful kids but she also has the time to get her career back on track. Britney is about to regain her throne as POP PRINCESS!!!

What a crock. They are raising money to promote their own nonscientific and dangerous ideas that vaccines cause autism. There are dozens of studies proving that vaccines are not related at all to autism, yet people keep throwing money at idiots like Jenny McCarthy, who is basically openly advocating causing widespread epidemics of easily prevented diseases. Please stop showing such dangerous people and ideas in a positive light.

Britney looks great, but the smile looks a little forced (even though I doubt anyone exactly ENJOYS being photographed as much as she is, so I can understand). I’m glad she’s lending her support to a cause and reorganizing her life. Hopefully, everything will work out for her!

@ JT — you must do some more research on vaccines.
Are you aware that many of the studies which promote the use of vaccines are actually paid for by the pharmaceutical corporations which produce and manufacture the ingredients? Of COURSE those studies promote vaccines. Use your head.
Also, do you really think people who are parents of autistic children are promoting dangerous ideas? Really? Then riddle me this, JT… how dangerous do you think it is to inject newborns on a consistent and steady schedule with massive doses of compositions which are proven to contain mercury? How dangerous do you think THAT is?
Again, use your head and learn to be thankful that ideas contrary to mainstream medicine are publicized on websites like this one which have very high numbers of unique visitors – that is why social media is so effective, revered and feared all at the same time. Because it is powerful and has the potential to educate even people like you who have yet to become enlightened to how we can all help ourselves instead of relying on mainstream tactics which are not at all failsafe.
