Jennifer Hudson’s Album Artwork Revealed
Here is our first look at the album artwork for Jennifer Hudson’s long-awaited self-titled debut album which is due to hit stores on September 30:
I suppose it’s nice enough … but perhaps a touch too simple? I dunno, just like I expected a bit more from J. Hud’s appearance in the Sex and the City Movie (not that she wasn’t great, I just kinda wanted more) I guess I was expecting — well, more. In any event, the cover artwork isn’t all that important. I love her new single Spotlight and I’m very anxious to hear the rest of her stuff. I’m really looking forward to 09/30 now :)

Don’t tell the millions of pacakge designers out there that “the cover artwork isn’t all that important.” Neither is the look of the blog. But you went all out to point it out to us didn’t you?

I loved Jennifer Hudson in Dreamgirls. She stole the show. Her voice is waaaay better than Beyonce’s. She does look better with a little meat on her bones (and face mainly), but she still rocks. I wish her much success and hope her dreams come true.

I don’t remember her waist ever being that small. Bad photoshopping – good photoshopping is when it still looks like the person who it’s meant to be!

Before the belt it looks like her but below the belt is way way small. It’s cute for a single cover but an album cover usually needs to demand more attention.

Her voice is not ‘better’ than Beyonce’s; just more powerful. Still, she’s great, love the Spotlight single and the cover art is simple and tasteful.
