Here’s Your One Chance, Jessica, Don’t Let Me Down
Jessica Simpson is unleashing a new fragrance upon the world (like we really need another one) and she’s calling it Fancy. Here are a couple new promo pics for the new fragrance which is reportedly due for release on August 15:
“With Fancy, I wanted to create a pretty fragrance, one that I could be just as comfortable wearing on the red carpet or every day with my favorite jeans. For me Fancy is just that; fancy. This is a special fragrance-personal, whimsical, playful and romantic with a heart of gardenia, an essence I truly cherish, Jessica Simpson.”
You know, I can’t help but think that the name of this fragrance is a subtle nod to the famous country song of the same name by Reba McEntire … especially now that Jessica Simpson has gone country herself. Meh. If you’ve smelt one celeb fragrance, you’ve smelt them all. I guess she looks a’ight in these pics — I suppose we’re meant to believe that Fancy smells like Jessica Simpson in bed, right?

I have had the chance to smell ‘Fancy’ and I really enjoyed it. I will definitly be buying it. She has referenced the song by Reba as inspiration to her, but she has actually mentioned that song back in the the 2000-2002 era of her singing career. I also just seen her new video and it is beautiful, love the song, and can’t wait until 9-9 to purchase the album!

Ahahahaha Josh – she referenced a song about her parent turning her out to make money as an inspiration? I think that about sums up the legacy of Jessica.
Also, goodness gracious, was her father in love with 80’s era Cher? She is a total replication of Infomercial Cher. Hawk anything in your path and only be known for who you’re boinking.

I was originally a big fan of Jess (loved the song “I Think I’m In Love”) then got REALLY sick of her. I really like the new country song though and I hope she finds herself a little nitch somewhere. If she can hock a fragrance and extend her 15 minutes AGAIN, more power to her.

Fancy? That has to be the WORST name for a fragarance. It’s very country bumpkin. When someone describes something as “Fancy” it’s that they are not used to things with class.
The bottle looks very pretty though.

Celebrity endorsed perfume are so overated! There is no “NEW” scent everything has been recycled over and over again.
I was never a fan of Jessica in the beginning. I found her personality to be wishy washy or at least that’s what Poppa Joe Smoe instructed her people to market her. A typical blonde who’s nothing more than a sad excuse to walk us again into many episodes of the movie CLUELESS.
The dumb blonde legacy is still very alive and apparent because of people like her. The sad thing is she’s probably not as dumbe as they market her to be.
In a macro level one can attest that perhaps society is much more inclined to accept a “dumb blonde” that goes around with fake tatas ans strutt herself in very short cut out jeans and size xxs small shirt — over an independent successful goal oriented woman who speaks her mind and will not settle for less than what she deserve.
She is not a role model. She makes other women who have fought to gain respect and equality amongs the “big boys” ashamed. We don’t hate you Jessica, we just pity you instead!
