Yeah, Donna and David as a married couple makes sense, but I’m not sure how I feel about this show being recycled. I think I was the only kid who could have cared less about it when it was on. I only got into it during the last couple of seasons. There’s a certain kind of desperation being displayed when the network has to go back to shows like this.

I am the first to admit that I loved this show until it’s very last last episode and still watch it on SoapNet when I can. I think they should have Luke Perry on for one episode when Jennie Garth takes all of her high schoolers to visit him in rehab. It could be the after-school special “don’t do drugs” episode!

Dylan McKay would be too OLD! I mean, yeah he was hot back in the day, but he still looked like a 30 year old playing a high school student (I still would’ve done him). Besides that, what would his character be doing now? Would he be the janitor? He wasn’t exactly “most likely to succeed.” Let’s not revisit the underachievement that was Dylan McKay.

To see an example of how old stars will return to the new version of the show, one simply has to go back to the premier of Degrassi: TNG. Much like BH 90210 was an American version of the original Degrassi series, 90210 is following the new Degrassi’s lead. The pilot contained many cameos by favorite stars. Some actors made frequent appearances (teachers/parents) but most only appear one or two times. I’ve always held that Degrassi was a major influence for the 90210 series, so I’m curious to see how the new 90210 works with it’s main character played by a current Degrassi actor, and one who has undergone such an interesting character arch on that show.

I think that by “Brandon did his time” means that Jason was on every single episode and he’s over it. I mean, not everything old needs to be made new again…

As much as I LLLLLOOOOOVVVEEE Brenda, I am kinda hoping Shannen says no thanks. But she is the one who will bring in the viewers..

Tori Spelling actually pulled out of the 90210 show recently for personal reasons so I guess thats why David Silver hasn’t been asked to join the cast

I was at a party with Jason Priestley back in the mid-90′s when he was still feeling like the big guy and he was such a rude ass. Poor Steve Sanders. Unfortch, I have ZERO interest in watching this show. Too many shows are being made about wealthy teens having sex, doing drugs, etc. And it’s not showing these bad things in hopes of educated, but rather just for entertainment purposes. Have we thrown all morals out the window now??
