With all due respect — you generally do, poking fun and creating hook-up names all the way. I think if you really believed that and acted that way you’d be out of a job, right? Your schtick is commentary usually on the ridiculous ways celebrities act like they’re in a different universe without the same rules (this Sam/LL thing is a great example). Le News but not news.

These two are not in anyway attempting to make their PDA discreet let alone private. Flaunting is a word that comes up. This isn’t like any regular GF-only behavior I’ve seen or experienced either. If this is a traumatic event, the last thing they should be doing is what they’re doing — all over the place. That’s what’s so skewerable and you’re usually so great at it.

Very cool you’re protective of your friends and dealing with an outing in progress. Maybe you should consider what old school goss seems to do and just not talk about the weird things celeb friends or the almost open are up to? I think we can all happily focus on other happenings.

It’s not about “being honest” but sexuality and coming out as gay can be a very emotional, very private and very traumatic experience. i would never want to impose any extra undue stress on anyone who is may be dealing with coming out. until they officially say that they are together, who’s to say? girls especially can be very close and yet have nothing sexual between them.

Cinnamon, I agree completely. LL and Samantha a) live together b) are constantly photographed together holding hands c) kiss on the lips etc- LL refers to herself as “Lindsey Ronson” on her MySpace page– how much more evidence do we need?

I have to say, I have been reading your site for years and I miss when you would actually say negative things about celebs. God knows, I much prefer the nicer, classier approach, and I don’t read blogs like Perez or the Superficial b/c they’re mean and often sexist, but there’s a difference between being mean and being honest.

I just wish Ronson would get some concealer (or sleep once in a while) and make some damn effort with her appearance, but I hope she makes LiLo happy and keeps her healthy, if she does that then she’s a great influence even if she does dress like she went back to the 80’s and raided Miami Vice’s wardrobe…

It’s been fun watching you over the years go from teacher to semi-celeb yourself and you are a fun read. But it’s getting weird Trent.

Sam Ronson was the dj at your party and you called her your good friend (we can assume by association her gf LL is a now a good friend too). OK, more and more you’re friends with the people you make a living commenting about, we get that.

But following their official party line and playing along with their jr. high approach to love instead of skewering it, especially as an openly gay man — isn’t this, well, messing with your own integrity?

Trent, I just wanted to say how classy you truly are! Each time I read your site, which is every day, I’m delighted to see that you throw no punchs, make no assumptions and refrain from choosing to believe anything without proof. Regardless of whether of not these two girls are together in a romantic relationship, you’re right to point out that Lindsay looks happy and healthy for the first time ever. Thank you for making the focus on that over their potential relationship.

Anyone out there who’s ever been subject of whispers, questions and comments regarding their sexuality can attest that it can be stressful if you’re not ready to talk about it when it’s a new revelation. When, and if, she ever decides to explain her relationship is completely her own choice. People should just be happy for her. She clearly is!
