David Beckham & Heidi Klum Visit ‘Sesame Street’
Soccer star David Beckham and fashionista Heidi Klum are among the latest celebs to pay a visit to the beloved children’s show Sesame Street to help the program kick off its 39th season this Fall. Here is a pic of Becks posing with Elmo:

David Beckham has acquired a few new friends during his year in LA including Tom Cruise and Will Smith, and now he’s got another high profile pal to add to the list. The football star has teamed up with Elmo for a guest appearance on the hugely popular children’s programme Sesame Street. The LA Galaxy star was invited to appear on the first episode of its 39th season alongside a host of other celebrities including Heidi Klum, Jenny McCarthy, Jack Black and Jessica Alba. He he introduced the word “persistent” to Elmo and viewers on the show’s Word on the Street segment. A source said: “David has always been a huge fan of the show. When he was a kid he watched it, like a lot of people, and knew all the characters. He was more than happy to go on.”
Aww … I love Sesame Street … and I love that Becks and Heidi are among the celebs to pay a visit this season to that famous “street”. So long as Tom Cruise leaves his Scientology pamphlets at home on the day he visits, I’m cool with him being on the show as well … after all, everyone should be allowed to spend some times with the gang on Sesame Street. I have no idea when new eps of the show air (only that they air on PBS) so I’m gonna have to keep an eye out for it … I wonder who else Sesame Street will have visit next … any ideas?

This is adorable. Becks looks so excited to be with Elmo! Look at his face! So cute. I think I actually felt my heart melt a little bit when I saw that.

Love the pics. Very kewl. I saw Ice-T rhyming on S.Street today (my daughter loves the show). It comes on around 8 in the morning here on the East Coast I believe. I want Trent Reznor to appear! He could play piano, singing softly to Elmo….oh but what song? I think it’s great they can get all these celebrities and rock stars on; it’s good for everybody. Positive energy!
