Funny people Jenny McCarthy and Jim Carrey, who have been dating since late 2005 and may or may not be engaged to be wed, spent part of their Independence Day yesterday afternoon enjoying the sights and sounds of the beach near Jenny’s beachfront home in Malibu, CA. Oh, Jim. You like to think you are so funny. It’s precious really. Unfortch, it’s an old joke that he already made AGES ago. You know, these photos remind me a lot of the pics that John Mayer posed for back in February when he tried his own hand at comic hilarity by donning a one-piece bathing suit of his own. Truth be told, if Jim would firm up a bit in the buns region, he’d be able to pull off this look quite successfully. Let’s just be thankful he didn’t try on a thong.

Honestly… I am really happy for them as a couple…
