I am very glad (and not at all surprised) that the allegations were vehemently denied by Bale and his “people”. I have a strong feeling that while the paparazzi and gossip media will make a huge to-do about the whole she-bang, he will ignore it and avoid discussing it at all costs for the sake of his family (his wife and daughter, clearly not his mom and sister). This is a guy who is so private, he never even officially announced the name, gender, or birth date of his daughter 3 years ago – someone who can walk into a restaurant and people mistake him for Christian Slater (that really happened). He will keep any details as private as possible and continue to be known for his amazing acting abilities and smart choices in film selection, not the gossip surrounding his personal life.

Thomas…are you saying who cares what Trent thinks? Last I checked this was a blog, not a news network. He can voice his own opinion on his own blog…

As far as Christian is concerned, I feel the same way. I was absolutely shocked when I heard this and still am. I keep hoping that there really was nothing to it and it was all blown out of proportion. Everything I’ve ever heard or read about CB has always been very positive and that he’s a good, down-to-earth type of person.

Actually, the assault charges against him were for VERBAL assault. In London they have two classes of charges for verbal assault, level 4 and level 5 (4 is more aggressive than 5). His mother and sister are also from Wales, a place Bale hasn’t been in years. He moved to live with his father in LA when he was young.

Dang! I hope that’s not true Christina but it prolly is. CB never struck me as the sort to resort to violence. That’s sad if that’s the case. This is a big time for him and his family has to go out and get all trashy on him. How freakin’ embarassing.
