Angelina Jolie Does Italian ‘Vanity Fair’ Magazine

New mommy Angelina Jolie, doing her best Mona Lisa impersonation, is featured on the cover and in the pages of the new issue of Italian Vanity Fair magazine … check it out:
Yeah … I dunno … these pics are OK but they’re a little off — weird, even. I’m not sure what is going on but many of Angelina’s recent magazine covers have been pretty … fugs. Her cover for US Vanity Fair wasn’t all that hot, nor was her cover for Entertainment Weekly. At least these photos for Italian Vanity Fair have a classic look to them … I like them best of the her worst pics. Again, I’m not a fan of the greasy-shine look … it just doesn’t work for me … am I wrong here?

i have to agree – i don’t care for the pictures either. i also don’t care for the greasy-shine look! she’s much more beautiful than these pics make her look!

I don’t know…there’s been a lot more awkward magazine covers these last few months. I would think Angelina would be one of the hardest people to get a bad shot of. Are photographers maybe silently on strike?

The colour photo i can understand, maybe just wipe her forehead, but the black and white shot, she just looks greasy!

I think it’s the pregnancy. A pregnant woman’s face changes quite a bit as well as the rest of her body. You can always tell that a woman’s pregnant by either her boobs getting larger or her nose getting flatter. Take a look at J Lo in the latter part of her pregnancy and you’ll see the same thing. As a woman who had a baby and only gained 12 lbs, believe me, your face goes through alot of changes with a pregnancy no matter how large you get.

I saw her US vanity fair spread, and I thought the entire pictorial was great. Actually she doesn’t look greasy, she’s dewy and sexy.

The Entertainment Weekly cover shot and the black and white from the Italian Vanity Fair are the same. And they are both fug.

gots to disagree w/ the pregnancy note….changes in a nose getting flatter? that’s a new one. boobs bigger, okay, but disagree w/ the nose bit.
As a woman who has had 2 babies & put on about 60 lbs w/ each (no joke)….i’ve NEVER had or seen changes in a face such as a nose getting flatter. Just bigger boobs, bigger belly, bigger ankles! lol =]

Yeah I’m pretty sure these are outtakes from the Entertainment Weekly shoot, hence them looking the same. I think she looks naturally beautiful!

Her picture just looks fake. She doesn’t look real. Maybe they used her statue from madam tousinis( spelt totally wrong, but I am talking about the wax place). She is pretty damn good looking thou.

Agreed that she looks fake or digitally altered in some way…alll 3 pic’s vary slightly if you look at them.

I don’t know…. something about the photos makes me feel uncomfortable… like I’m looking at Michael Jackson or something.
More natural make-up and softer angles and lighting…. it’s just too intense. Why can’t I get these photo gigs?

Girl has had a nose job and some photoshopped cheekbones thrown in for good measure…see attached linke for her orignal nose and chipmunk cheeks.
Don’t even get me started on the eyebrow retouching.

She looks awful! Not only the shiny partand the fact that the pics are photoshoped but because she´s sooo thin; she never gained the weight she lost a few years ago, and that just makes her look scrawny, even her features changed, she has this miserable look all the time (IMHO).
The other day I was watching her film “Taking lives”, and couldn´t help but notice how different she looked; she was thin as she always has been, but her face was fuller and she was so much more beautiful.
Just an opinion.

Her face has changed a lot…..and it has nothing to do with pregnancies or chasing after 4 (now 6) kids.

Love the birthday pictures from your big day! As for Angie, I don’t know. The pictures are strange and disturbing, as if photographed by Diane Arbus. I think they capture how weird she has become by being so “normal.” I miss the old Angelina with Billy Bob and making out with her brother. She hasn’t done a good movie since Pushing Tin (in my humble opinion) and it seems like a waste of her talent.

just commenting on the pregnant nose- it totally happens. i can explain why, but lets just chalk it up to being pregnant and all the changes that the body goes through!

Angelina lost a lot of weight right after her mother died, it is not as though she wanted to get so thin.
to lyndyloo….Angelina is not a fake person, if you have ever read quotes from actors she has worked with, such as Common in Wanted, they always say what an honest person she is.
How do you know she does not have any girlfriends? That is your opinion, not a fact.

She is pretty fugly all of the time. I’m sorry, but she’s the most over-rated actress around. She’s very odd looking and her acting skills aren’t that great either. My opinion of course.

Trent, totally agree about these pix! (Also with you, Carolina. I think the US Vanity Fair pictures were pretty hot actually.) These pictures were the first time I wondered if she’d had plastic surgery because she looks so weird in them. She seems so ballsy, it would be such a disappointment if she had….

Actually these pictures are the Entertainment Weekly pics, the one on the cover ran in the book to open the story in the magazine. Its just alterered slightly here, coloring wise. I hope VF paid EW for the rights!

As someone who retouches a lot, I’m almost sure that these pics are digital composites made of various other pics. Look at the cover and the wonky right eye (Angelina surely has had a nose job and a lip reduction, but she has never had a wonky eye before), and the weird lips in the color 3/4 profile shot. Actually, if you look closely, all 3 photos have completely different sets of lips. A person can’t change that much between shots. This goes beyond airbrushing, it’s actually a montage. That’s why she looks so…. off.

Wow, these almost look like wax statues. I guess you need tons of make-up and a lot of photoshopping when you look 50 at 32. Her lips change in size in every photo. That is not normal.
Angelina Jolie is not classy, or a timeless beauty, she can not pull off galmour shots and the airbrushing is ridiculous.
I too see Courtney Love in the last pic – which can only mean Angelina needs to cut down on the plastic surgery.

People shouldn’t be allowed to be named “most beautiful” if they only got “beautiful” because of plastic surgery…..
There’s a lot of people who would be visually ‘perfect’ if they had even just ONE facial feature worked on!

In case anyone is interested, the headline on the magazine says Angelina: on how good sex is when you’re pregnant, on how easy it is to have a tatoo done for Brad, on how difficult it is to get him a present and on her necklace (the gun one she’s wearing in the picture.)
I also think she looks greasy in these pics!

I agree. Something is not right with these photos. They’ve airbrushed them to death. But I do hope she keeps some of the baby fat on her bones. Angie just looks better a little heavier.
