As September 02 draws evernear (get it? 90210 premieres on 09.02 … well, 08 cuz 10 would take too long) the hype and anticipation for the new 90210 series on The CW also grows evermore … and to fan the flames of that anticipation just a bit, here are a whole slew of new promo pics of the principal cast of characters moving into Beverly Hills, 90210 this Fall:

The kids:
Okay … can I get a big WTF? is going on with the pic of Tristan Wilds, the sole African-American cast member (who plays Dixon Mills) on the show … do you think they told him to pose like that? Cuz, the first thing I thought of when I saw this pic was the signature fingerpoint pose made famous by Isaac the Bartender, the sole African-American castmember on The Love Boat. Please tell me this wasn’t intentional!
The adults:
I’m not entirely sure which characters are sleeping with which but I’m sure all will be revealed very soon. It’s a pretty good looking cast … let’s see if they’re able to live up to the caliber of the original cast of kiddies from 90210.

im a little nervous not gonna lie…im a hardcore 90210 fan and the thought of another 90210 coming out….eeek we all know what happened with saved by the bell the new class. it will prob be good tho…like another version of the OC
I’m just afraid they’ll make too much of the parents. They seem too hip for a) being parents and b) coming from Kansas City (where I live)…even the little promo previews, too much on the adults…I understand his role at West Bev, but they should be only supporting….idk I’m a huge fan of the original (shoot I DVR it every day on Soap) and while I’m excited, I’m also going to be a bit critical….
sorry, but i think this show is going to bomb, it seems like they are trying way too hard and there is way to much expectation for this show, plus i don’t think the casting is very good. They are going to try to be all “cool and hip” with rich kids with their silly drams and their cell phones, and fancy cars text messaging eachother while having sex and doing drugs…..yadda yadda yadda… and it’s just gunna be stupid i think. The original 90210 was what it was, an original show, it was different. now its “been there, done that” and i don’t think it’s going to be very interesting…

LOL! It’s going to take much, much more than pointing for me not to think he’s ADORABLE.
I was the biggest 90210 fan. I loved Brenda, and I’m glad she’s coming back. My only problem will be if there is, like javajunko said, too much sex, drugs, cars, etc. What I loved about 90210 is how the trends didn’t overshadow the (admittedly, dramatic) storylines.
Pretty sure the “adult” in the middle is Aunt Becky from Full House……
This is a joke. I’m a teen that lives in Beverly Hills, the ‘actual’ 90210. This show will only make Beverly Hills’ reputation worse. & of course The CW will overplay the stereotypes. This show will be funny to watch cause it already seems far from actually portraying the real teens of Beverly Hills.
I think it sounds like a stinker but I’m always wrong so it’ll be a hit. BTW John McCain will win.

Oh Trent……..I think this is a major step down for Tristan Wilde acting wise. He was on the WIRE (HBO) and did a phenominal job as Michael. I guess getting on a major network will help in his noteriety but for those who don’t know who this kid is check out seasons 5 and 6 of the WIRE.
