GWB got busted for getting into a bar fight, y’all! Well, okay, the actor who plays GWB in the new Oliver Stone film W was arrested for fighting but still … Josh Brolin, who was amazing in the film No Country For Old Men last year, got busted along with 6 of his W co-stars/crew for getting into a big ass bar brawl at a charmingly named establishment called the Stray Cat bar in Shreveport, LA yesterday morning … here is the actor’s lovely mug shot:

Actors Josh Brolin and Jeffrey Wright and five others involved in filming the Oliver Stone movie “W” were arrested during a bar fight Saturday morning, police said. Shreveport police Sgt. Willie Lewis said the seven were arrested just after 2 a.m. at the Stray Cat bar. The Times of Shreveport reported that Brolin was booked and posted $334 cash bond to be released. Police did not say Saturday night whether he or the others had been released. The paper said they are part of the crew filming “W,” about President George W. Bush. A call to Brolin’s publicist was not immediately returned Saturday night. “W” began filming in May in Shreveport. Brolin plays President Bush and Wright plays former Secretary of State Colin Powell. The cast also includes Elizabeth Banks as first lady Laura Bush, Ellen Burstyn and James Cromwell as the elder Bushes and Thandie Newton as Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice.

LOL! I bet it all went down just like it does on TV and in movies … my guess is that a drunken punch was thrown and then a friend of the person assaulted got involved and the next thing you know chairs are being broken over people’s backs and folks are getting slammed onto tables, crashing them to bits. Maybe even a bottle or two got broken over someone’s head. I’m not sure if I’m allowed to disclose this but … a couple of my good friends were planning on joining me for my Chick-Fil-A/Rock Band birthday soiree yesterday and they had to miss it because they had to deal with fallout from Josh Brolin’s arrest (they work for his movie studio). So BOO! to Brolin for keeping a few of my friends away from my fun party :P

So, yesterday was my birthday and I really wanted to keep the day as low-key as possible, spending it with some friends and some food. After I discovered a few months ago that I was within driving distance of a Chick-Fil-A restaurant in Redondo Beach, CA I’ve made it a habit of gettin’ down there for eats as much as I can. The very kind owners of the Chick-Fil-A inside the South Bay Galleria Mall in Redondo contacted me with an extremely generous offer to host a party for me and my friends … I figured my birthday would be the best time to have such a party so that’s what we did. I hadn’t anticipated that Bob and Michelle Sun, the restaurant owners, would go all out for me and my friends … they really gave me a superfun and very delicious birthday party. Here are a few pics from yesterday’s fun:

Yes, that is the official Chick-Fil-A cow mascot at my party with me and my friends. I cannot express enough gratitude for Bob and Michelle’s kind generosity. My friends and I were treated with all the Chick-Fil-A we could eat and then some … I really felt like I was on top of the world. I have to send out much, much love to the Suns for taking such amazing care of me and my friends. Much love also goes out to Darion, Mike, Jill, Paul, Corey, Jim, Derek, Jordan (and his friends Mike and Aaron) and of course David for coming out to my dinner party :)

Wee … the Weekend Hotness portion of the week is always a fun and happy time. It’s kinda fun just being gratuitously exploitative of hot dudes, ain’t it? I must say, I am quite a fan of white swimwear like Steve is wearing in this photo … to be honest, tho, I much prefer seeing white swimwear after it’s gotten wet. There is something about the way that white swimwear sorta disappears once it gets wet that gives it that extra OOMPH to really set off the whole look. Even tho Steve’s little shorty shorts are dry (and therefore not see-thru), he still has a nice look going on for him, yes? Yes. Enjoy :)

Jake Gyllenhaal, who finally showed off his longer hair earlier this week, has surfaced in Paris, France with his ladylove Reese Witherspoon and her children Ava and Deacon this weekend after the group spent some time in the UK last week. Here are a few pics of Jakey poo wearing a skull cap presumably to keep his new hair’do under cover:

Boo … I mean, Jake looks great (as usual) but I wish he would stop covering up his longer hair. It’s a great look for him, I’d like to see as much of it as possible. AND … since I mentioned that Reese and her kiddies are with Jake in Paris, here are a few pics of them making their way into their hotel:

I must admit, they all make a cute little “family” but I can’t help but still feel like it’s not right. Jake is hanging out with Ryan Phillippe’s family, not one of his own. I get that Witherppe is totally dunzo and that they need to move on with other people (Ryan seems happily attached with Abbie Cornish) but I don’t think I’ll ever get used to Jake with Reese and Ryan’s family.

Christian Estrosi, the mayor of Nice, France, addressed the assembled press on the steps of the Fondation Lenval hospital this morning to officially announce the birth of Nice’s newest and most famous twins, Vivienne Marcheline and Knox Léon Jolie-Pitt who were born in his city yesterday. Mayor Estrosi showed off the birth certificates (les acte de naissance) to the press with excitement and pride:

They’re here, officially: On Sunday, Mayor Christian Estrosi of Nice, France, presented one of the birth certificates of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s twins on the steps of Nice’s Fondation Lenval hospital, where son Knox Léon and daughter Vivienne Marcheline were born Saturday. The typed certificate revealed that Knox was born at 6:27 p.m. on July 12. Sister Vivienne came within a minute of that time, Dr. Michel Sussmann tells PEOPLE. The document also showed the Mayor’s signature, as well as Pitt’s initials, the letters WBP representing his full name, William Bradley Pitt. The mayor entered the hospital at 3:24 p.m. to oversee the signing, telling PEOPLE, “It’s a pride to Nice and all its citizens.” Knox is the 3,702 registered birth certificate in Nice for 2008. In welcoming the twins, Estrosi told reporters, “On behalf of the inhabitants of Nice, I congratulate the happy parents, the most famous couple of the world who have chosen our city for this happy event.”
