Production on the film When In Rome starring real-life couple Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard has relocated back to NYC after spending some time filming in Rome, Italy for the past few weeks. Here are a few pics of BellDax joggin’, smoochin’ and parading around in skintight running tights on the streets of NYC yesterday afternoon:

First thing, there are a helluva lotta productions being filmed in NYC these days … Gossip Girl, Lipstick Jungle, Ugly Betty, When In Rome … the entire city has been turned into a life-size movie set — that can’t be good for Hollywood. Second thing, I think I could go the rest of my life without ever having to see Dax Shepard in skintight running tights ever again. I’m not really a fan of his mini ponytail/bun either. If this is the sort of thing that Jake Gyllenhaal has got hidden underneath his hoodie, I’d prefer he keep it hidden until it grows out into something more substantial. I’m not exactly sure what Kristen sees in her romantic interest … maybe he’s got hidden talents that we’re not aware of … clearly, he’s not hiding them in his tights, tho.

Welp, Angelina Jolie has not given birth to her twin babies yet, at least not as of earlier this morning that is. Here are a couple pics of what looks to be Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt milling about her private hospital room at Lenval Hospital in Nice, France early this morning:

It was previously reported that altho Angelina checked herself into the hospital last week, she is still “weeks away” from giving birth to her twin babies … and here we are, one week down and she still hasn’t brought forth the precious fruit of her very famous loins. Babydaddy Brad Pitt has been showing up at Lenval Hospital for daily visits with his pregs lady (sometimes bringing the kids along with him) but he’s not doing all of his waiting at the hospital … he’s been passing the time with a couple of famous friends as well. Last week I posted the exclusive first pics of the new Peach Pit diner that will be featured on the new Beverly Hills, 90210 spin-off show on The CW this Fall and I wondered aloud if producers of the show would be bringing back Joe E. Tata to reprise his role as Nat Bussichio, the original owner of the Peach Pit. This week a few Pink readers (thanks Kathryn, Katie, Tiffani, Brandi and Lili) have given me the head’s up that Nat will, in fact, be back on the new incarnation of 90210:

Joe E. Tata is cooking again in the role of Peach Pit diner owner Nat for the new incarnation of “Beverly Hills 90210.” Tata, who was part of the original series that aired from 1990 to 2000 on Fox, said Tuesday he was wrapping up his scenes for the pilot episode of CW’s version of the show. The part represents “lightning striking twice,” he said. It’s uncertain if his character will remain part of the series, he said. “The coin’s in the air for me,” Tata told The Associated Press. “I guess it comes under the heading of magic test: Let’s see if the audience still remembers me” … Other alumni of the first “90210″ appearing on the CW show are Jennie Garth, whose character of Kelly Taylor has become a high school guidance counselor, and Tori Spelling as Donna Martin. Garth (”Dancing with the Stars”) will be in several episodes, while Spelling is set for one episode so far, the CW said. Shannen Doherty reportedly is in talks to return as Brenda Walsh. The network declined to comment on Doherty. Tata, 71, said he jumped at the chance to bring back Nat, whose diner was the hangout of choice for the “90210″ crowd. Nat Bussichio was “a good guy, always there to help out,” Tata said. The actor is still greeted by fans of the drama, sometimes unexpected ones. “Cops and firefighters say to me, ‘I used to watch the show — I mean, my wife did, or girlfriend.’ But they knew more about the show than I did,” Tata said, laughing.

Yay! This is awesome news! You cannot have the Peach Pit without featuring Nat. I hope he does stay on the show beyond the season premiere episode … but I suspect that all the former BH, 90210 alumni that will be appearing on the show will not be featured very regularly. Except for Jennie Garth, who has been cast as the guidance counselor for West Beverly High, I don’t know how the other former castmembers can make regular appearances on the show in an real way. This new show is all about the young new cast (think Gossip Girl set in LA) and there can’t be too much room for the oldsters to get much screen time. It’ll be amazing to have their appearances peppered thruout the series but I think folks shouldn’t expect 90210 to turn into The Brenda/Kelly/Donna Show, not by any means. Nat, on the other hand, has a chance to be featured pretty regularly … about as regularly as he was when Beverly Hills, 90210 debuted the first time around. I really like the mix of the old and the new for this incarnation of 90210 … I’m very excited to see how it all plays out on screen. It could be a huge success or a huge failure … I’m hoping the former but you never know.

Here are a bunch of really cute pics of Madonna’s sons Rocco and David Banda enjoying a fun-filled day at an amusement park in Central Park earlier this week in NYC. The brothers rode rides, won prizes and spent a lot of bonding time with their respective nannies … behold:

At last, Rocco actually went a day without wearing any of his beloved New York Yankees gear … maybe his dad Guy Ritchie gathered up all of his Yankees clothing and burned it (it’s just a guess). You’d think that Guy would have his sons all decked out in Manchester United gear but I guess he can’t help it if members of his family are New York Yankees fans ;) The kids must really love Central Park … they spend pretty much every single day there while their mother is bizzy with her rehearsals for her upcoming world tour and their father is bizzy going to the gym or whatever. Central Park is a really fun place … but it’s bound to get old sooner or later. Ah well, maybe the kids are too young to notice — it looks like they’re still having fun, especially in these pics.

Britney Spears was all smiles yesterday afternoon as she emerged from a hair salon in West Hollywood with a full head of new, straightened hair. Additionally, a “pal” of Britney’s dishes to People magazine that she is “excited” to be working with Madonna again for her new Sticky & Sweet World Tour (you may recall that Maddy enlisted Britney’s help, asking her to appear in video segments that will be shown on massive video screens during her concert show). Even tho E! Online reports that technical difficulties have pushed back production on Britney’s filmed video segments, everything is still a go for the collabo to take place this week. Here are pics of Britney showing off her new weave yesterday afternoon:

Britney Spears will soon collaborate with Madonna again, and the embattled singer is psyched to reunite with her idol, says a pal. The pop icons are teaming up to film a segment that is expected to be part of Madonna’s upcoming Sticky & Sweet tour. “Britney is excited, but in a grown up way,” says the source, who has seen the singer through her recent ups-and-downs. “She has come a long way in the last year.” According to the source, Spears, 26, who used to make headlines for her late-night outings and reckless driving, has been showing new signs of maturity. “She has settled down and is full of life but not childish,” says the pal … “Working with Madonna is a dream, but I think she feels like it’s one she’s earned,” says the pal. “She’s respectful but full of her own ideas about the work … I think that so many people have no idea that Britney is fully aware of what’s going on. She may not always have been, but she is now. And she is – if not in control – in partnership with her father and her managers in her future.”

I think it’s clear to pretty much everyone that Britney has gotten her life back on track, it’s great to know that she’s been making great progress behind the scenes as well. I think this collabo with Madonna is a brilliant move … I loved it when they teamed up the first time and I’m totally on board for this second round of cooperation. As I mentioned before, tho, E! is reporting that set delays have caused a minor road bump in the video production but that things should be back on track today:

Britney Spears and Madonna’s latest hookup has been temporarily derailed by a technical glitch. Spears had been scheduled to begin shooting a video montage for Madonna’s upcoming tour this morning at the Lots soundstage in Hollywood. But production insiders say that because the set was not finished in time, cameras will not roll until tomorrow. The set features an elevator, in, around and on which Spears will dance. “The video will be very deep,” a source in the Spears camp tells E! News. “You’ve never seen Britney like this before. It will blow your mind.”

All other information about this video collabo is being kept under lock and key, which I think is smart. Reports of what exactly this video piece is all about are bound to make their way around the Interweb once Madonna’s tour gets underway in Cardiff, UK — even then, I’m not sure I want to know. I’m sure I won’t be able to resist reading about this new Madonna/Britney collaboration but I think I’d much prefer finding out what the big secret is until I can see it for myself … but that ain’t gonna happen. In any event, things continue to look up for our dear Britney. I still can’t believe she’s been able to turn her life around so successfully, so quickly. Woot!

Here it is … our first look at the first photo of Maddie Briann, the first born child of Jamie Lynn Spears and Casey Aldridge. As you may recall, Mama Lynne Spears brokered a deal with OK! magazine late last year to sell the exclusive story about Jamie Lynn’s unplanned pregnancy, the photos from JL’s baby shower in May and the world exclusive first photos of the baby itself for a reported $1 million dollars … and here she is, the million dollar baby herself, on the cover of this week’s issue of OK! magazine, due out on newsstands tomorrow:

Since giving birth on June 19 to baby girl Maddie Briann Aldridge, Jamie Lynn Spears has taken to doing what any good first time mom would do — making sure her brand new daughter has everything she needs. And, in an exclusive interview and photoshoot, the younger sister of Britney Spears tells OK! that being away from the shining lights of Hollywood is making it all easier to learn the ins and outs of first-time motherhood. “Around here, everyone has the same focus,” Jamie Lynn tells OK!. “The focus is family, and that’s a good way to live.” The 17-year-old actress opens up to OK! about everything — from taking parenting classes to life inside the new home she shares with Maddie and boyfriend Casey Aldridge, to her first experience with labor pains. “They’d told me it would be an eight- to 12-hour labor, and I was ready to have the baby in three to four hours,” Jamie Lynn tells OK!. “I had a perfect pregnancy and a perfect delivery. I was very blessed.” While the former Zoey 101 star and her fiancé have not yet set a date for their wedding, the couple remains closer than ever. Jamie Lynn, who tells OK! that while her labor was induced, she gave birth naturally and without complications, says that Casey was the one person she wanted in the delivery room with her. “Once I got in there, my doctor was just so calm and so good it was not bad at all,” she says. “I was just talking to Casey. And you know what’s so weird? I was asking him if he was okay. He was like, ‘Yeah.’ We were both so excited.” A baby nursery is set up for little Maddie at the other end of the house, but for now her proud parents like having her next to them at night, so she sleeps in a bassinet in the same room as Jamie Lynn and Casey. “She is very good,” says Jamie Lynn. “She’ll feed every two or three hours. When she wakes up in the middle of the night, I’ll feed her and she goes right back to sleep. There’s no screaming and crying.” The proud mama continues, “We get up in the morning, and she gets her little bath. Then I get my bath. We have a routine, and I love routines. I’ve worked one out with her, and we’re happy going about our little life.”

The full interview and the complete OK! magazine photoshoot of Maddie Briann, her first of a lifetime of photoshoots, will be published in the new issue of the mag which is due on newsstands tomorrow (but may end up in folks’s hands even sooner, depending on where in the country you are). As far as babies go, MB looks very cute and very standard baby-looking. It’s hard to determine which of her parents she looks more like … I hope the OK! photoshoot features pictures of father and daughter for comparison. And so, little Maddie’s life of celebrity kid-dom gets its official start. And, as far as I can tell, Lynne Spears’s deal with OK! magazine is fait accompli — the family provided all of the exclusive access to all things Maddie Briann up until her birth and, presumably, the mag paid up the million bucks. Hurray for Hollywood!! Alls I know is I can’t wait to get my hands on this magazine … I have to see all the pics myself.
