As rumors about the dissolution of Madonna‘s marriage to hubby Guy Ritchie are just beginning to die down a bit and as reports of the very public split between Alex Rodriguez (of the New York Yankees) and his wife Cynthia begin to heat up (Cynthia‘s lawyer claims that Madonna was “the final straw” leading to their divorce), new deets from the tell-all book from Maddy‘s estranged brother Christopher Ciconne are starting to come out just days before the book, Life with my Sister Madonna, hits bookshelves on July 15. Early indications are that the book will make very bold claims about personal aspects of Madonna‘s private life including alleged marriage woes, drug use and sexual experiences. Something tells me that Christopher Ciconne is really lobbying for Brother of the Year this year. Here is the cover of Christopher‘s new book and some deets from within its pages:

Madonna’s rocky marriage to Guy Ritchie has survived because of rabbi Yehuda Berg who served as a mediator during their seven-year union, the singer’s brother Christopher Ciccone reveals in his unauthorized biography Life With My Sister Madonna. The book comes out July 15, as reports continue to grow about the singer’s close relationship to Yankees player Alex Rodriguez. According to Ciccone, a major issue in Madonna’s marriage to Ritchie, 39, has been been her desire to live in New York City. Ritchie feels England is a better place to raise their children, Rocco, 7, adopted son David, 2, and 11-year-old daughter Lourdes (dad is Carlos Leon). The bio is also expected to unearth details about the singer’s rampant drug use and lesbian flings. “The book is a warts-and-all account. Chris [Ciccone] was there for all the key moments in Madonna’s life,” an unidentified source told British tabloid The Sun. Madonna has had no part in the book, her rep has said.

Yeesh. It must smart like a mofo to have your brother try and cash in with a book full of sordid tales about your private life. To be honest, I imagine there must be some truth in the book’s pages but I wholeheartedly believe that fabrications and half-truths make up the majority of the book … if you consider that the book publisher may have suggested that liberties and embellishments be added to make the claims more interesting … well, I imagine the book won’t paint a very nice picture of Madonna. It’s no wonder that she and her brother have been estranged for so long … maybe this is his way of getting revenge as well as making some money on the side? On the real, I’d be interested in reading this book. Granted, I’d be taking everything I read with a big grain of salt but I can’t help but be intrigued by what her brother has to say. Nothing in the book would ever change my opinions but I’m afraid I’m dying to know what sort of sordid goss Christopher is trying to peddle.

After celebrating her 22nd birthday with her 50 most intimate friends at her prom-themed birthday party last week, Lindsay Lohan spent the rest of her weekend enjoying the quiet pleasures of SoCal with an even smaller group of intimate friends, including her younger brother and sister Michael and Ali Lohan. Here are a few pics of Lindsay and her BFF Samantha Ronson picking up a few DVDs from their friendly neighborhood Blockbuster Video over the weekend, presumably for a quiet night in with friends:

You will note that the girls picked up the straight-to-video movie Get a Clue which stars none other than Lindsay Lohan herself … clearly, it was the better choice than, say, her last movie I Know Who Killed Me which was pretty wretched. To get the weekend started right, tho, Lindsay packed up a few friends, her sister Ali, her brother Michael and his girlfriend and spent the day at Disneyland:

Lindsay Lohan rang in her 22nd birthday with a playful date at Disneyland with girlfriend Samantha Ronson. The pair took their romance to new heights, piling in for a ride on a Alice In Wonderland themed roller coaster … By yesterday, the couple were in the mood for a quite night in, stopping off to collect a DVD at their local Blockbusters. After broswing through the shelves, the bemused pair settled on renting one of Lindsay’s straight to DVD movies, Get a Clue, as well as Pirate Of The Caribbean.

I don’t care what anyone says about Lindsay these days, I love that she is able to keep her life free from dangerous drama and can, in fact, live a normal life free of hazardous decisions. As long as she surrounds herself with her family and her closest friends, the ones who really care about her, she should be able to continue moving forward in a happy and positive way. If the most “exciting” thing that Lindsay is doing these days is riding the tea cups at Disneyland then I’m all for it. I’m proud of her progress and I hope she keeps saying no to the bad influences and yes to living a life worth living.

Last Friday we saw pics of the happily married Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony enjoying a sweet smooch as the couple chilled with friends Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana on the D&G yacht in Portofino, Italy and today we get to check out a whole slew of new photos of the couple’s continuing weekend adventures in Portofino. Then it was back to the boat where the couple sunned their buns and relaxed with one another. Jenny was proudly showing off her post-baby body which she is getting back into shape for her return to the big screen. Here are a couple pics of J. While most people use a holiday as a time to relax, Jennifer Lopez spent the last weekend of her vacation getting in shape ahead of her return to acting. After taking a lengthy break from movies to focus on her singing career and motherhood, J.Lo is set to resume her film career with a role in Love And Other Improvements this week. Lopez, 38, and her four-month twins Max and Emme have been touring Europe with husband Marc Anthony over the last month. After Anthony’s tour wrapped in Rome last Wednesday, the family and their entourage flew to Portofino in northern Italy for a few days R&R with designer pals Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana. The couple have been spending their days on a luxury yacht moored off the exclusive yacht, giving Lopez the perfect opportunity to work out with a daily swim. Lopez is getting back in shape in preparation for her film role in three years, alongside Lisa Kudrow, which starts filming in New York this week. Despite gaining three stone while pregnant with her twins, Lopez is back to her famous curvaceous shape just over four months after giving birth. Max and Emme were born via caesarean section in Long Island, New York on February 22nd … After taking it easy for the first six weeks after the birth, Lopez was back hard at work getting her famous figure trim again. The singer, who turns 39 later this month, has been doing thrice-weekly workouts with trainer Gunnar Peterson. Peterson’s program includes 20-30 minute walks and sit-ups and lunges. Despite her long swims during the day, Lopez made she kept her holiday evenings relaxed. Leaving twins Max and Emme in the care of nannies, the couple joined Dolce and Gabbana for a lavish meal in Portofino.

After Keith Urban took to the stage in Nashville, TN this weekend for a 4th of July concert appearance and announced to the assembled crowd that his wife Nicole Kidman was “very VERY pregnant”, People magazine is reporting that Nicole is no longer pregnant at all — she gave birth to the couple’s first child, a girl, this morning in a Nashville hospital:

Nicole Kidman and her husband, Keith Urban, have welcomed their first child together, a daughter, born Monday morning in Nashville, PEOPLE has confirmed. The pregnancy was first announced in January. Kidman has two other children with her former husband Tom Cruise: Isabella, 15, and Connor, 13.

Thus far, there hasn’t been much information to come from the couple, the baby’s name has not been released. Nicole attended a 4th of July party on Friday night and then Keith‘s concert on Saturday night (both in Nashville, TN) and this morning she birthed her baby. Much congrats to the happy couple!!! The actress welcomed a girl, Sunday Rose Kidman Urban, Monday morning. The baby weighed 6 pounds, 7 ounces. “Husband Keith was by Nicole’s side and mother and baby are very well,” the rep said. They are “delighted,” the rep added.

Sunday Rose! What a pretty name! Again, much congrats to the couple :)
