Pamela Anderson may have turned 41 years old on July 1 but she didn’t properly celebrate the occasion until her party at LAX nightclub at the Luxor Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, NV last night. With her, um, friend Criss Angel by her side, Pammy Pie partied the night away amongst tattoo artists, hangers-on and a big, pink birthday cake which she proceeded to do semi-pornographic things to … behold:

It may not be commonplace for one to perform fellatio on frosted baked goods where you come from but I think it’s pretty much par for the course in Sin City, especially with a lady like Pamela Anderson :) She’s a classy broad, I tells ya. As far as I can tell, none of Pammy’s ex-husbands were in the hiz to celebrate her birthday with her, just Mr. Angel. I’m pretty sure that nothing is going on between those two but it’s so hard to keep track of Pamela’s men. Honestly, I won’t believe that she and Criss are romantically involved until they get married and divorced a few times … and come to think of it, it has been a few months since Pamela Anderson got married, she’s about due for her next husband/ex-husband. In any event, I hope that Pammy pie had herself a nice birthday. I also hope that the poor cake didn’t hate itself in the morning.

Here are a couple supercute pics of Guy Ritchie taking his youngest son David Banda out for a little playdate in Central Park this weekend. The Ciconne-Ritchies (all kids included) spent a significant portion of their Independence Day weekend enjoying services at the Kabbalah Centre in NYC but Guy and David managed to sneak away for a little playtime yesterday afternoon:

I understand that Rocco Ritchie also tagged along on the trip to Central Park (he was wearing the New York Yankees t-shirt that he’s been living in for the past 2 weeks) but I really <3 the pics of Guy with David, just the two of them. Again, I don’t really believe that all the reports of trubs in Maddy’s marriage to Guy are necessarily valid (tho, I do believe that there may be some bit of truth buried in all the hoopla — but what couple doesn’t have probs?) so it’s nice seeing that the family is carrying on as best then can as the break-up speculation swirls (incidentally, Madonna released another statement denying that she and Guy are planning to divorce). I think the worst of this latest round of rumors has already passed … now we just have to wait until the next round of rumors get underway.

Our dear Britney Spears spent part of her long holiday weekend in the company of friends on a boat in Marina Del Rey, CA … most specifically her William-Morris agent friend Jason Trawick. Now, I don’t necessarily believe the rumors that Brit Brit and Jason are hooking up on the sly (tho, I prefer him as a boyfriend to pretty much every other guy she’s ever been romantically involved with since her days with Justin Timberlake) but I do find it interesting that Britney and her agent manage to spend a lot of friendly alone-time together (holidays included) from time to time. I am greatly disturbed by the new reports that Britney has been creepin’ around with her former flame Adnan Ghalib so that is why I’m encouraged that Britney is spending this time with Jason … but again, I don’t really see that there is any sort of love connection betwixt the two of them … unfortunately. Ah well, romantically-involved or not Jason is very good for her. He has managed to help the girl get her career back in order (he was instrumental on getting her to appear on How I Met Your Mother earlier this year) and for that I will be eternally grateful. I just hope that all these intimate vacations, dinners, etc. may one day ignite the spark of lurve. Hello, he’s a total catch for her … a hottie with a job! That right there makes him better than almost all of her former boyfriends combined.

David Beckham and his family spent their first 4th of July holiday with their family friends the Cruises in Telluride, CO this weekend. As you may recall, Becks didn’t officially arrive here in the US until July 12 of last year (ahem, on my birthday, I might add) even tho wifey Vicki B. and the boys arrived the month prior to prepare for his arrival, this year was his first chance to enjoy a good ol’ fashioned American Independence Day … and he did so with the Cruise family in Colorado. HMMM. Here are a few pics of Tom Cruise (wearing his nifty cowboy hat) picking up Les Beckhams from the airport this weekend:

I would imagine that all of the Beckhams made their way to Telluride to spend the weekend with the Cruises but Vicki B. does not appear in any of the photos that I’ve seen. Additionally, Katie Holmes wasn’t seen at the airport either but she, most likely, stayed home for the pick-up. It is no secret that the Beckhams and the Cruises are good friends … they tend to spend major holidays and events together (I believe we last saw them all together was at Suri’s birthday party and then together around Easter). I can’t lie, I am a bit concerned about all this time the families are spending together … I like my Beckhams untouched by crazy and hanging out with the TomKats doesn’t really foster my hopes that they will remain so. That being said, Tom Cruise has really put his bizarre antics on lockdown for the past few months, actually the last year. While it would be great if he actually were sane again, it’s hard to forget all the couch-jumping craziness that he unleashed upon us a couple of years ago. Perhaps the Beckhams are being good influences on them and have been able to counteract the lunacy? I guess only time will tell … in the meantime, the two families continue to hang out together … after all, it is the American way.
