Here are a few pics of Sarah Michelle Gellar filming scenes for her new movie Veronika Decides to Die in a small rowboat at Rockland Lake State Park in New York last week:
Yeah, I just love me some SMG so I just had to post these pics. She looks great (and Buffy-like) in these pics and I am excited for the release of her new movie even tho I’m a wee bit concerned that I may end up hating it (like most of her other movies, Cruel Intentions and I Know What You Did Last Summer notwithstanding). Thus far, the movie is full of promise … SMG looks amazing so I’ll just cross my fingers and hope for the best.

I read the book Veronika Decides to Die from Paulo Coelho, the same author from The Alchemist, and if the movie is anything like the book it will be awesome! It is one of those inspiring stories and to have SMG on it makes it all the better!

Veronika Decides to Die is an amazing book and such a fun part to play. I played Veronika in a stage adaptation of it a couple of years ago and it’s a very moving part with a lot of depth. I think SMG will rock it. Hands down.

You didn’t like Cruel Intentions? That movie kicked ass…. the few hundred sequals that followed on the other hand sucked. haha

The sentence:
“like most of her other movies, Cruel Intentions and I Know What You Did Last Summer notwithstanding”,
meant that the author thought that the films were all crap EXCEPT Cruel Intentions and I Know What You Did Last Summer.

So looking forward to this movie. Sarah looks stunning and she will definitely rock this part. We all know what depth she has to her acting skills.

I can definitely vouch for the book; it’s great and when I heard that SMG was playing Veronika, I let out a shriek of glee. I might have to relocate my copy of the book and read it again so I can be ready to watch it.
