Sarah Michelle Gellar Takes The Plunge
Here are a few photo of Sarah Michelle Gellar on the NYC set of her new movie Veronika Decides to Die. In this scene, SMG’s character Veronika decides to die by way of leaping off the Manhattan Bridge … which essentially means that SMG need only leap off a small platform set up on the Manhattan Bridge:
Again, it’s just great seeing SMG back to work on a new movie. While I’d be thrilled beyond words if she were to agree to star in a movie version of Buffy the Vampire Slayer (er, well another movie version of BtVS with 100% less Luke Perry and 100% more Whedon Awesomeness), I’m just happy that she’s making any new movie — sooner or later one of them is bound to be a hit, right? Right? And even if not, she can always go back to playing Buffy. See, the Sex and the City Movie showed that not only can a hugely successful TV show make the transition to the big screen but a female-led movie can make boffo bucks at the box office. Hopefully SMG will come to her senses and sign on for a BtVS movie before she decides to die.

I heart SMG (SMP?) though, um, so I don’t know if you read the Twilight series, but pretty sure that James Marsters (Spike) should’ve been James, way to typecast evil vampires…but still!

I hate that they picked her to make the movie, because I’m a huge Coelho fan and Veronika is one of my favorite books and now they have ruined it for me. When will they stop making good books into lame movies, when?

Not especially a Coelho fan, did like this book though. And if memory serves me right (which it does), Veronika takes pills – the whole story is gone if she doesn’t. Why on earth would they have her jump of the Manhattan Bridge??!!
Anyways, yeaaaaah Buffy!!!

Hear hear! A BtVS would be amazing!!! And definitely in the vein of the series, not the original, though come on, the movie is fantastic for some giggles. How loose is your goose? haha. But actually I felt though that the character of pike was one of the redeeming aspects of that attempt… maybe its just me. anyway, love hearing about the buffy alum from time to time so thanks!

Itt would be awesome if they made a Buffy the Vampire Slayer movie. They could totally make Buffy and Angel get back togehter, that would be awesome. They could redeem the end of both of the shows by showing how they ended up after the series end. Buffy and Angel forever. They have to make the movie. It just needs to be made on a lighter note t=like the beginning of the series, and not so dark like the end of the series. They need to make it so Buffy and Angel can be together forever.

Buffy and Angel will always be together forever in my heart but a BtVS movie would make all my dreams come true!
