Jazzy Is The New Pink
Woot! We are well into Day 2 of the Pink is the new Blog relaunch and things have been coming along so smoothly I can barely believe it. I am so happy with the way the site looks and has been functioning. Thanks to a few comments from readers, little tweaks and changes have already been implemented. I still have a bit of a learning curve to get over as I work with Word Press but I’m sure I’ll get into the swing of things in no time. David has been amazing about helping me with every little question I have. I thank the Gods that he’s been here with me this week.
So, Jamalia David, who goes by and will henceforth be referred to as Jazzy, was the lucky winner in the Pink is the new Blog Relaunch Party contest (sponsored by Nestea and Nikon COOLPIX) … she took a bunch of great pics on her new Nikon COOLPIX camera and has already blogged about her experience here in LA and at my party Wednesday night. Folks, I’m not even kidding here … we all love Jazzy and Alicia (who came out to LA as her guest). They flew in from Houston, TX to attend the party but really they became new friends. We had so much fun hanging out … after the shindig was over, we all went up and ended the night at Paul and Corey’s new loft. Jazzy and I have already been txting since she returned home to Texas, I really hope we can stay in touch … she was just the funnest part of the whole party night :)

Ahhh … I finally got to meet Holly Valance after being a fan of hers for so long. I was thrilled that she was able to come out for the party … much love goes out to Zachary Quinto, Heidi Montag, Spencer and Stephanie Pratt, Sean Faris, Nick Verreos, Tom Lenk, Susie Castillo and all the other folks who graciously came out to par-tay. It was just such a fun blast. Again, love goes out to Samantha Ronson for spinin’ the best music all night long. I have to give a huge shout out, yet again, to Nestea, Nikon COOLPIX and P.I.N.K. vodka for their sponsorship … I know for a fact that every single person appreciated all their hard work to ensure the party was a huge success.
Part of the party’s success came because of the amazing customized drinks that we were treated to all night long … I’m providing the recipes for all you 21+ readers to try out for yourselves, I promise that you will fall in love with them :)
Now, you might have to play around with the proportions of each ingredient but, I’m telling you, all I heard all night long was how amazing the drinks were. I think folks believed that I made them up … I didn’t but that’s our little secret ;)
And so … I guess that’s it. The party went off without a hitch, the site relaunched without a hitch … and now it’s time to just get back to work. Here we go. Woot!!!

hey, i’ve been a loyal fan going to your blog for 3+ years, and I have to say that I don’t like the diagonal pink lined background! it makes me dizzy! please change it! otherwise it’s great!

Pink is the best. Im proud of you. All your hard work has paid off! I have read your blog for 2+ years now, and its my favorite. Im just a KY girl, who likes to think of the big world, and pretend not to be in a backwards community, so I read your blog to know what the other side is doing!

also, i agree w/ whomever said the diagonal stripes were distracting. i think it’s cuz they have a shadow and appear little 3-d.

I like your blog. Sugestion: Change the background, because the diagonal stripes are anoying, a plain color background would help us to read more comfortably. Good luck.

I agree that the background is a little distracting, but overall the new look is faboo! I can say with confidence that I have turned on about 20 or more people to your blog and all of us STILL love it after 3 years!!! Keep up the good work Trent… Even tho your all now famous and shizz :)

Agree about the stripes being annoying and super jazzed about your success as you deserve it. Love the blog but find the new format a bit less user friendly since the pink on pink (until theblack downloads) doesn’t show up. xx
